It's a very pretty watch. That rubber strap is terrible though. It looks like shit on the watch in the images on Tudor's website.
The blue rubber on the original Pelagos looks like shit as well.

Re: So, its official now - Tudor x Marine Nationale

Another difference, if my terminology is correct, is the way the chapter ring is not sandwiched over the markers on this one. I prefer the original.

Re: So, its official now - Tudor x Marine Nationale

Not to beat a dead horse, the original Pelagos blue is a little confounding, to say the least, when you first see it person.

Windows 11

Finally installed on my PC this morning, which I use a lot more than my tablet, and things seem a little faster, but really not that much difference. I'm sure there's some stuff I'll notice after a while.

Re: Favorite Chukkas

Thank you, gentlemen. Tried on a pair of AEs today and unfortunately, I'll have to have their B width, 10B is the size of all my AEs. If it's not my damn skinny wrist, it's my damn skinny feet. I've got a pair of Wallabees that are not narrow, so maybe I'll look at the Clarks. I was hoping for somet...

Favorite Chukkas

Looking for something, not dress, that works well with jeans and cords, maybe suede. I know the usual suspects, just throwing this out there. I may very well have to go with an AE, if they even offer chukka options for a narrow foot. A lot of my casual stuff is Martin Dingman, so I can get away with...

Very cool! I am about to upgrade to Mac blue lights on my 4100. Damn, how I love this thing. Sounds AMAZING. https://i.imgur.com/u5RIC0e.jpg Nice...Am I right, late seventies, early eighties? Without a doubt, one of, if not the best of its day. It was so far out of my league at the time, that I don...

Re: John Wick handing out Subs

Have you guys seen the so called armorer? I mean the whole thing is an incredibly sad cluster of incompetence, but one look at that hire, damn. She looks like a complete moron. Total nepotism. Apparently her dad is some big time armorer. As usual, I didn't know that, thanks Jacob. Explains it prett...

Love it, Chris. Finally got to see the Dyns up close. For what it's worth, I've been preaching speakers first for decades. Always thought I might own Dynaudio at some point, but life got in the way.

Re: If true….I want!

hope no lug holes cauz' fixed bars :excited: I’d be so tempted to Wu mod that and drill them lugs for rubber  If fixed bars/lugs get much discussion here, I missed it, and they're so out of mind to me, that it never even registers. I get Tudor's intent and the fact that there is some legitimac...

Re: If true….I want!

Another look... https://timeandtidewatches.com/friday-wind-down-what-the-beckham-tudor-pelagos-hopefully-implies/ Photos from that link suggest fixed lugs and it appears to me to be a smaller, thinner case. The 200m rating suggests this too. I would expect a MN model to use “French blue” as its col...

Chris... It was in his apartment. That "rich" kid is now 67 and still practicing dentistry in the Memphis area. He is also one of the nicest people I've ever met. We would go over and smoke a joint and start spinning records. I remember it sounded incredible and I had to go home to my Sansui/Advent ...

Woah. Love Mac gear and that looks amazing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Chris...I got a taste of the other half my freshman year. One of my fraternity brothers had a full blown McIntosh system, including speakers. From memory, I think it was around 7K, and I may be wrong, in 1974 dollars.

I really don't get the allure of the Royal Oak range, at any price.
