I like BOR bracelets and I can see Doxa incorporating that design as one of their brand's signature elements, but this is a bit too much.

As said above, those will just look nasty within a few weeks.

If you like this look, alternatively you could simply buy an SKX, replace the dial, bezel insert, and handset, and have a similar looking (arguably better wearing) watch for probably less than $500.

In my opinion, Tudor was correct when they decided not to produce this watch 40 odd years ago.

I hate to yet again bump a 2 year old post, but I still own my Jean Richard diver and (ironically) it is one of the few watches in my collection my wife actually really likes and wishes I wore more often. If nothing else, it certainly is different than the traditional designs I am commonly drawn to....

As to the speed, I always prefer a bit fast over a bit slow. I hate being late for stuff.

I think this has always been the case.

It gives you some insight into the management perspectives at Rolex. Innovation isn't the goal. Brand identity is.

I just went to the MJJ Exclusives website to see how they market their items. They offer a DLC’d Datejust they call the “Dualtone”. It seems they made 10 of them. In the description of the watch, they state it comes with a “MJJ Made” dial in deep black. It has Rolex branding along with MJJ branding....

Sounds good. I’ll keep the CWC on natos, but this might work for the Grand Shogun or U1P? I think either of those would work on this style strap. I really like her straps and will stay clear of the knock offs as she is the "original" designer for this type of strap. Takes some getting used to on connecting the clasp, but pretty easy once you get the hang. Just super comfortable straps and I always like when you can communicate directly with ...

I'm not certain she was the original designer (as I thought these were originally fashioned from cut up parachute bags by soldiers), but she was certainly the first person to pop...

I like that the strap length is specific to your wrist size. Mine was 59€ shipped. The thread pattern that I wanted was discontinued but Erika was nice enough to custom make it for me. You got a good price. Her website has everything at 75 Euro now (plus extra if you'd like some customization).
