Re: Swatch Group Issues Statement Warning Of 'Massive Price

All I care about is that that's my buddy, Danny, in the header image for the Hodinkee article. Not sure why they used him, considering that he's a Patek watchmaker, but whatever. Dude knows his shit. Regards, Adam Would appear that Danny is giving some presentation on an ETA escape wheel, so a fair...

First buckles will likely be ready in a couple of weeks. Terry is getting one of the prototypes soon, so you will all see that before hand

Re: Buckles

At $34 you're gonna be working round the clock to keep up with the demand. You won't need to make watches anymore lol That would be ok to a degree! But I am keen to actually make the watches, not just build from parts. That is my ideal situation for Aegir and I have always had that plan. Spectacula...

Re: Other buckle materials

Price should be at least $50 in my opinion..lesser buckles sell for more. Bronze would sell in my opinion. The fad if you will is still strong. Titanium should be an option. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk The price is reflective of me wanting to sell many. My efforts to make them are free! Bron...

Re: Other buckle materials

1) agreed price is great (agreed, maybe too good?). i'd be in for a few in stainless in 22mm 2) i'd for sure be in for 2 iso tangs as well 3) no bronze watches and no plan to add one, so no you didn't specifically ask, but ti may be a potentially popular option assuming you could source raw materia...

Other buckle materials

So it does not get lost in the previous thread, I thought I would start a new one and ask a question, polling those you frequent the sub forum. It would be better to get an idea in the Main I suppose, but lets try here. So the Roller buckle takes some effort to hand finish, as that is how I am doing...

Re: Buckles

Very nice Todd, If it were possible to make something to fit the ISO it would rock to have an Aegir buckle to compliment the watch with its factory strap. Great work. So I will not be using the Isofrane after the last cases I have now, which is approx 12 more in total. Time for a change, I will be ...

Re: Buckles

I'd love to see that buckle with a tang wide enough for an Isofrane. Possible? Would that lug bar fit through an Isofrane? Of course it is easy to make the tang, but no, that 3mm bar would not fit an Isofrane. The Isofrane hole is too close to the top of the rubber as well, and you would weaken it ...

Buckles

So I made this. I have a couple of samples made and will be sending out now (yes Terry, yours) and a couple of worse than thought cell phone pics. 24mm and 22mm roller buckles for the time being. Polished screws for contrast, but they can be anything, brushed . bead blasted etc. I am doing all this ...

Count me in for a buckle for damn sure. I can't wait to see where you take things, Todd. I got nothing but praise for your work so far. Its all a bit slow, costs too much money and becomes a little tiring doing things the way they are now. Making buckles certainly takes some time too, but I am maki...

So I decided to use the new Sellita SW300-1 movement going forward. Soprod are getting hard to deal with and i cant get an answer to an email for 6 months of trying. (I need 6 winding stems extra) As an early adopter of the A10, I dont expect any special treatment, but I do expect an answer. I had i...
