Karlskrona Treudd - Gauging Interest Thread

Hello all... I am getting close in finalizing the design and specs for the Treudd and wanted to get an idea of interest. Please let me know if you are interested enough in either dial so I have some information. You are in no way committing to anything, I just want to have know where the interest le...

Anyone know of a source for these crystals here in the US? I don't have the patience to wait 3 weeks. ;)

Re: I think I'm in love again

Another stunning watch ruined by the date window placement. I will never understand the crooked date at 4 o'clock.

Re: Karlskrona Treudd - New design renderings

Thanks, gents. I prefer the Mil sword hands as well. Working on another rendering and will pop it up here soon.
I think that MKII is a lovely looking piece, minus the crooked date at 4... which I will never, for the life of me, understand.

Karlskrona Treudd - New design renderings

Like a mad Scientist, I've been staying up to the wee hours of the morning playing around with different design aspects for the Treudd. Here are a couple of news ones using alternate dial marker sizing ratios and hand sets. Let me know your thoughts.... likes/dislikes etc. Your input and opinions ar...

Re: new seiko from basel

OK.... that's it. It's venting time. :banghead: Why, ohhh WHY do companies continue to put a cockeyed date window at 4 o'clock. Drives me nuts and ruins many watches for me. I simply prefer a traditional date window at 3 or, better yet, 6 o'clock. I've never understood the crooked date at 4. Anyone ...

Agreed. I have been watching three Seiko Sumo Limited Editions. I have communicated with all three sellers and they all will not budge on their asking price. Watches have been listed now for months. One guy actually increased his price over the past two weeks. I lost interest and moved on to other w...

New acquisition - Orient Mako USA White

I am in "summer beater acquisition mode" and picked up the new Orient EM6500GW. Nice piece with sapphire crystal and lovely white dial. The black bordered indices and hands set the dial off. Watch glows like a torch as well. Quickly took it off the bracelet and fitted one of my Original Sailcloth st...
