Re: Anyone near Burlington, NC?

We had a great time! Derek was awesome.
Met up at Mellow Mushroom, had a few brews, some bad ass pizza, and trivia.

Derek did convince me that I need to get an Isofrane....which I just ordrered.

Thanks for coming out, Derek! Great to meet you.

Anyone near Burlington, NC?

I'm in town for work this week. Didn't know if any of the DWC crew was local and wanted to grab a brew.

If I was going for a 2000m contract case watch, the Shark Diver would be at the top of the list.

I have a few more on the horizon. Another 2531.80 Bond Seamaster, Sub-C, and a Speedy Pro. Then I think I'd be done.

Re: Thinking out loud about (watch) Priorities

My memory is not so good. I would definitely forget the trip. Depending on the actual choices ... but, I say 1 watch and a subscription to National Geographic. :stir:    I'd pick up one for now...AND do the trip. Both the 3570 and the 2254 could be sold at break even if you needed to...

Re: Daily Wear

Not sure why a date is so important to me, but for some reason it is. I mean, I "know" what the date is but it's just nice having it on the dial for some reason. Another reason to look at the watch I guess. I split time w/ my divers (PO and U1) and my X-33. The X-33 is such a great travel watch. It ...
