Re: House Prices...
Think we’re about to cash in and sell ours. Mother-in-law passed away in Jan. and left my wife (only child) her house. Plan to do some light reno work and enjoy not having a mortgage for a few years. Great time to be a seller. Buyer, not so much.

Re: Year End SOTC and next moves
Picked up 4 this year: No date Sub Full metal G (gold) Scurfa blue titanium (no pic) Scurfa black titanium (love these) So as it stands this is what I got (unintentionally ended up with duos, guess I’ve found my type). Will shoot for a Speedy or White Seamaster next year. Maybe a blnr if I can make ...

Re: the exit watch
After years of trying I’ve given up on an exit watch. I think I’ve found my favorite watch in the Sub but couldn’t settle down with just one. Right now the plan is to have 3 core watches and some fun beaters to round out the group. Thinking of offloading the Seamaster for something else as I’m a bit...

Picked up a Prometheus a year or so ago and love it. Don’t have to worry about anything rolling off the desk and like the areas up top for spring bars and stuff.

Re: Scurfa MS20 sold out [emoji20]
It’s good! Titanium makes it light and the craftsmanship is great. For anyone who hasn’t tried a Scurfa yet, it’s a lot of watch for the money. I wear both of mine on a Toxic rubber and it’s really comfortable. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200715/211931d1b07268aa9754aec054f82f8f.jpg https://up...

After foolishly selling my MS18 I was glad to be able to snag one of these. Interested to see the difference with the titanium.

Re: Calling all MTB experts
The great thing about mtb’s these days is that there is definitely one out there to suit everyone’s riding style and geography. And what works well for one guy and their spot isn’t the best option for someone else. My brother rode his first full squish yesterday and decided it wasn’t for him right n...

Re: Calling all MTB experts
Funny this thread popped up as I’ve been spending less and less time looking at watches and more and more time drooling over bikes. After a 6 year hiatus I just picked up a Giant Trance 29 and am having a blast! Actually headed to the lake tomorrow to demo a few from the local bike shop for some fun...

Re: Do you still have the watch that got you started
I’ve still got both of mine. My first watch that my parents purchased for me, an old Lorus Mickey Mouse watch. The band has long since been destroyed. I recently put in a new battery and it’s ticking right along 34ish years later And the second watch is the first watch I purchased with my own money ...

Isn’t it a percentage just like “Swiss made”? You only have to get 60% to claim Swiss made. Same thing here I figure.
