Re: Planned Fall Car Purchase On Hold Until Spring 2020 (or later)

have you seen the straight pipes youtube review of the telluride? they love it. I think that’s what we’ll get when the time comes to replace my wife’s old pathfinder The telluride isn’t the kind of car people change exhausts and intakes on. The only owners that bother to post on that forum are the o...

I put an isofrane on the autavia last night. It doesn’t make sense - but I really like it.

Re: Oris's newest Diver's Sixty-Five Chronograph

Yes - I saw it and really like it. I agree that I would prefer the blue chronogragh all steel instead of the bronze bezel version. Hopefully the will roll out a few other regular production options eventually. I may pick one up if I can find it at around 2k. If I can't wait that long - I may just pi...

Re: Omega Service question

I’d tell them to send it back to you and then find someone else.

my 3570 is running about 10 or 15 seconds slow per day - stories like this is keeping me from sending it in for any service until absolutely necessary.

Re: Picked Up Another Haveston Strap

Thanks for the heads up on the single pass. I did not realize they had made that change. I much prefer a single pass strap because I can put the buckle where I want and the watch doesn't sit up so high.

I'll probably pick up one or two to try out now..

Nice.

I can't believe there's a version with no minute marks on the sub-dial.

I like it a lot.

It didn't take the long to fix that minute mark mistake...

Maybe the no-minute mark versions will sought after collectable at some point

Re: Watch box/storage?

I have a pelican 1200 case that has been great. Plucked enough foam out to hold 6 watches perfectly.

I have a boy with special needs and he will ransack the house from time to time. I don't have to worry about the watches being destroyed in the pelican. They are locked tight in a cocoon of foam.

I came close to buying one a couple years ago when you could find a nice used one for $5800.

I think I’m over Rolex now though.

I kind of like it - especially that blue one.

Could just be that everything else I've seen the last couple of days has sucked so hard that this is a winner by comparison.

You’ll have to bore out the hole if you want to use tubes.
Any chance I can just lube it up and jam it in?
