Re: A new Brand

Well, I see what he's trying to do, and I get that it's not intended to be a dive watch. There are a few things that just don't work for me. First up is the crown. I think a smooth round crown would drive me nuts every time I wanted to set or hack the watch. I really hope it's not intended as a scr...

A new Brand

So a customer of mine was interested in the Aegir brand on a bigger level, of distribution or perhaps more. It is a difficult time, with the $AUD and so forth, and to honest I am trying to take a break from watches while still being there. It has been working and allowing me time to focus on some ot...

Re: DLC CD1

Have been on holiday up in Exmouth WA and wore one of the DLC version. I liked it, but personally I lean towards the Grey dial SS. I think the DLC will suit leather nicely though. Many photos didn't work as planned, but a few are ok to post up. http://i789.photobucket.com/albums/yy175/t20569cald/124...

Re: DLC version assembled

OK, so I tried to get more done on the Black dial watch, but this is as far as I can go until the dial is perfectly clean. No easy task on these black dials, even though I assemble everything in a desk top clean room. The dials are really glossy and show the tiniest dust particle. Cell phone pics on...

Re: DLC version assembled

I'd love to see it in all black I will assemble two more , one white and one black only next week, as that will be the first chance I get. Those are all going to look phenomenal. I have to say a black on black is going to rock though. Damn I might have to lay off the crack to afford one of t...

I actually think the White will work well in this one. Not so much in the normal version, but should pop in DLC

well one is! Been a busy time, youngest daughter had her 4th birthday two days before Christmas, then Santa came, and my wife celebrates New Years rather than Christmas, so took awhile longer. Cell phone pics only for the time being, as we need to set up the proper gear . I will not have these on th...

Re: Next model type?

The SD1 sounds good to me. IMO what you've already done works very well, so basically adding a ceramic insert and a different dial sounds like something I'd want. It is on hold for now, until I see what it what with the $AUD and how to make it work. One issue is the bezel inserts alone, cost 30 Eur...

Re: Doxa Sub 1500T with Soprod A10

Has anyone had experience with a Soprod movement not building adequate power reserve during normal daily wear. I wear the watch 10 to 12 hours per day in a fairly active job. So basically you can fully wind the spring with approx 40 turns or just less on the crown. If you wind more, nothing happens...

Re: DLC CD1

That looks great. The CD-1 is what attracted me to your new brand when you first introduced it a while back. If this is the last run for a while, I need to take a good look at buying one. When do you expect this run to be available. (Not rushing you ;) ) Maybe the exchange rate will be the deciding...

DLC CD1

It is just a cell phone pic for now, but the new cases are finished. There are 26 new cases for the CD-1, and 10 of those are DLC. There is no plans of any kind going forward for more, as the $AUD has all but collapsed, and now is a time for re-thinking of the structure and how I will mange to produ...

Re: Just received this email... how shall I respond?

nt. As others have pointed out, $10k isn't a lot in the grand scheme of things. It seems like a lot for one site, but look at the traffic/page views there. That type of organic traffic could take years (if it ever happens). Depends if their membership like the watch, the style, and most importantly...
