Re: Any experience/feedback with online dealer "getbezel"?
Never heard of them, which doesn’t mean they aren’t impeccable, but with so many known 100% legit dealers out there, why take the chance unless you can find verifiable feedback.

36mm looks fabulous on you. noooooo, don't say that  seriously - thanks, I thought so, too. I need time to raise funds for if/when "I get the call" I was contemplating a grey market 224270 (40mm) or used 214270 (39mm) as my next watch…but seeing how that looks on you it makes me realize I need...

Re: Momentum Chronosport UDT Re-Pop
My former contact from Momentum told me about this last month that they had been working on this for a while and that it will be a custom movement using a Seiko stepping motor and custom parts as they could not secure Seiko or citizen movements for it. If they could slim down the case, the black one would be my next watch. Love that they matted it down.

I was pricing out my Sub just out of curiosity a while back and they wouldn’t even pay cash for that.flyskate wrote:Crown and caliber is good, however, they have started offering credit only, instead of cash on certain models. YMMV

Re: Experiences SELLING to online dealers?
DSW if you want the quickest, most efficient process, but it will likely be the lowest price.
Takuya is also great, but there’s typically more going back and forth on condition/price than with DSW in my experience. Still a rock solid guy to work with.
Those are the only two I’ve dealt with.

I mention this as someone who is mostly aligned with you…this just isn’t the place. No one wants that type of discourse on a watch forum. Plenty of other places for it. I personally come here to escape that.59yukon01 wrote:Wow....So apparently mentioning Lia Thomas is not allowed either.

Finally watched this and I don’t know what took so long. This guy was doing the stuff that no one would even consider attempting, and doing it in preferred relative anonymity. Burned a little too bright and ended up like most in that world do, for better or worse. Sad irony is that his style isn’t w...

Re: School Me on Joma Shop
Thanks for the replies! Since UN offers a 5 year warranty if bought from "proper" channels, I might not want to chance the steep discount and no manufacturer warranty from a gray dealer. That was one thing that had me worried when I saw their price on my Seamaster. I called Topper’s and told Jay wh...

School Me on Joma Shop
I’ve never had an issue with them other than some delayed shipping, but nothing serious. I just assume there will be zero warranty support on anything I buy, though I’ve read elsewhere they actually take care of things pretty well if needed. I still wouldn’t buy an in-house movement watch from them ...
