Re: Zenith Chronomaster Sport Review
To me, the missed opportunity here is making this watch with a “fine link” or jubilee like bracelet option. Would set it apart and still look cool, while being more comfortable. It’s well done as is, but I wouldn’t take it over a Daytona. A different bracelet would entice me to add one, especially ...

Re: New AP Divers
So back on topic haha - ap must be getting annoyed at all the profit potential lost from aftermarket straps.
I agree with the ceramic crowns being a good change. We’ll also have to see how the 43xx movement holds up; the 3120 isn’t the most reliable, but it is a known quantity at this point.

I love these movements, albeit not in that particular color choice. This one would be my choice.

Yep - best thing to do is to either get on a list at a boutique (you’ll need to exercise patience and perhaps run into a little luck), or buy secondary. You only turn 50 once . Happy early bday Chris!

Given the lack of designation, I assume this is not a limited edition, right ?

I love the SBGJ237 and will add one at some point too. I do wish it was 42mm instead, but that’s okay. Do it!

Email from Bremont CS today: "I have to apologise . . . our initial diagnosis . . . was not correct. When our watchmaker opened up the watch he had noted a faulty calendar driving wheel" I respect their openness over this. Hopefully, they're fast-tracking repair. There ya go :). I like Monta, and in fact traded my ocean king in order to get a sky quest at some point. But it’s no Sinn.

Yeah, agreed; don't get into it, but take a mental note you're probably better off going with an independent watchmaker (e.g. Terry) if not covered under warranty.

Re: date change
Update: got an email yesterday from Bremont's diagnostic team saying it's being repaired under warranty, but that it "was evident that upon receipt, that the rapid date change was used within the restricted hours of 8pm and 2am" causing damage to the date wheel. Not sure whether it's just my interp...

Re: New Speedmaster Professional?
I think I’m one of the few people who likes the current speedy bracelet. The one on this new version looks like crap. So do the new pushers. And I’m sure the price will go up given the movement upgrade. I don’t care about the new caseback, other than to be amused that it causes such angst amongst t...

Re: PAM 2020
Looks like it's a special Paneristi.com edition, which explains the logo. That would have been much better on the back of the case. I don't see a crown guard. On the dial Oh that. I assume it's the site's logo  Does that site even still exist?? This watch announcement thread, which I assume ...
