Re: Electric razor for the head?
I just use my beard trimmer with no guard and shave it. It’s not down to bare skin though, it’s like Jason Stathom shaved head. I used to shave it to the skin but it gets so much irritation unless it go through a whole process of gels and creams that I just stopped. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatal...

With the latest skyquest and oceanking they basically took away everything that was unique and special about the watches and are now pure sub clones. The case had so many subtleties that made it stand out and basically eliminated all of it. And the skyquest gmt hand with raised markers was just pla...

It’s not a Pvd coating, it’s the plastic forged carbon deal.martyloveswatches wrote:I like the 3 hander. Would like a case without pvd coating but not a deal breaker.

I’ve seen this happen before. One of the reasons when I arrange pickups, I schedule it so I am there and hand it off to whatever courier it is for.
Hope it gets resolved for you.

Usually new guys do an intro They should and they used too but so many don't bother anymore and dive straight in (pun intended) to various forums here like Ray has here. I'm sure Chris and I both had our fingers hovering over the ban button but I guess we shouldn't judge a book by its cover  I...

So what's the new thing coming out? I know they had a survey recently, I wonder if they already have the results in production? Just got an email with a reference to a new model: Screenshot 2023-06-15 150644.jpg I know but I’m not allowed to say. I can say I’m not sure anyone will get all excited a...

That’s basically what they all are with these companies. Nothing really new here, just more “branded” companies doing it these days. It’s not like this hasn’t been going on for 15 or more years now.Jeep99dad wrote:Wow [emoji54] that’s a replica with a different name

Re: What is up with watch prices?
The 114300 will continue to appreciate in value, the Halios will not. And, based on my experience, I would expect the Rolex to keep time and be water tight without service 20 years from now. Rolex is expensive due to marketing. However, Rolex is also expensive because it's not "Swiss made" with par...

Re: Nivada Grenchen’s new Antarctic Diver
I love absolutely EVERYTHING about this... except the 38mm. I am not even obsessed by watch size.. though I am a big lad and not a twiggy build either. I just KNOW that this wouldn't sit well with me. And with the price.. I would definitely consider one of these. I especially like the red cross hai...

Re: Nevada Grenchen’s new Antarctic Diver
This looks so good like the recent Vulcain but do wish it was 40-41. So want one. They are hell bent on only producing the original vintage sizes. They seem to be doing well and there is a market for it, but I think if they made more 41-42mm pieces they could sell even more. Sent from my iPhone usi...

Price and size has come down on them. $2100 vs $3500 and 42mm instead of 43mm. I think only rubber now though, no bracelet option.

Re: Let’s See Your Zelos
I’ve reviewed countless models but I’m not particularly enamored with the models from the past year or two. I think they were more original and very cool affordable pieces at one time, but somehow the brand has been really become overhyped in my opinion. Now, that’s just an opinion and like I said a...

I haven’t shipped there since the pandemic, but I had no issues at all. It was like mailing to any other part of the US.

Looks like you have the old sinn rubber, with the new Sinn adjustable buckle. If you watch this vid from around 12:30 min mark he shows the new strap and buckle and the new strap is not flat, but crimped to allow that metal flap to close on it and lock into the clasp. https://youtu.be/Pewhxb2eJHM S...
