Re: What's the thinking on the Olivier Bronze...
Hell are people still slowly gettting the Oliver watches or did he just run off with the cash? Believe it or not he is starting round 2 and still asking for a down payment!!! http://olivierwatches.com/product-tag/swiss-eta/ $250 down is listed as a non-refundable deposit. http://olivierwatches.com/...

Re: PO8500XL Impressions
It looks nice. If I owned a PO I would buy the orange bezel setup from ofrei and figure out how to switch them. I have had an orange bezel 2500 as my daily wearer for the past year. Always thought about picking up a black bezel from Ofrei to change out but love the orange too damn much. A friend of...

Re: What's the thinking on the Olivier Bronze...
I wouldn't pay $600 after the whole pre-order fiasco. A name on a watch means something to me. Halios Tropic B is a better watch from a solid company.
Can't believe the Olivier has another pre order on their site. Asking for money up front again!

Re: Rolex Crystal Issue.......
His two year old son got hold of the watch and was banging it merrily against a metal chair leg. Service may indeed be required. :raised: My 8 month old daughter has to be physically restrained when she sees one of my watches. She loves them so much I gave her an old Tag Heuer to play with an...

Nope, 20mm. This is the actual MM300 strap. WJean sells a 22mm reproduction though.polaco23 wrote:I now have one incoming!!!
Really like that mm300 strap, Nick. I thought they were 22mm though. 20mm is good, I have more strap options now. Haha
Pics to come.

Re: trying to decide....ti/liquidmetal Planet Ocean or steel
There are two "liquidmetal" versions of the 42mm PO. The first had a liquidmetal bezel, but everything else is nearly the same as the 2500 PO (SS case, 2500 dimensions, slightly different dial). The second one is a Ti version of the 8500 PO. Thanks for the correction. Didn't know about the second v...

Re: trying to decide....ti/liquidmetal Planet Ocean or steel
I believe the 42mm liquidmetal PO is based on and dimensionaly similar to the 2500 PO, which is thinner and easier to slip under a sleeve than the later 8500 PO. I prefer the size of the 2500 series, but otherwise the 8500 has many tangible upgrades.

Re: Seiko BFK, any thoughts?
Read the torture thread a couple days back. Wow. Watch looks no worse for wear, I need one of these now! Thanks for the photos! If you have any more, please post them up I bought a new version at the end of that thread which I later flipped as I liked the old one better. Here it was on MM300 rubber...

Re: Where would you go for 10 days in Europe...
I studied in Italy for several months in college and went back for 10 days with the wife years later. Rome is amazing, but the scale is huge and it is a bustling big city. Architecture in Rome is unparalleled but Florence is a more romantic location to bum around and eat/drink IMHO. If you go to Ita...

An oral statement that defames someone is slander; a written defamation is LIBEL. If the statements are true, then its not slander or libel. Frankly, I think he's libeled Toxic twice, since his published comments imply Toxic lied when in fact it seems quite likely that he has not. By this definitio...
