Yeah, I kind of agree.. The regular Galapagos is just has a cool stealth look to it.

Congrats! I picked up a 5712 last year and it's by far the best watch purchasing decision I ever made. It hurts a bit handing over that much dough for a watch, but once you strap it on you quickly forget about that :mrgreen: Also, for marginally a little bit more money than the 5711, you get so much...

I went through this with my 1680. Once Rolex told me they would no longer service it (can't replace a red dial if anything happens) I became leery of wearing it. So, sold it for the price of a new sea dweller plus some and moved on. Yeah, they sell for more now, but it wasn't an investment any more...
