Re: Selling a Rolex to a

thanks, i sent it out to 3 of them and 2 have already gotten back to me with the same offer. I assume these guys are pretty good about sticking to their offers once they receive the watch assuming I sent them very detailed pictures and am not trying to pull one over on them? if anyone can chime in ...

Re: Selling a Rolex to a "trusted grey"

Dont be afraid to talk to a couple for best price when selling to these guys. They all value differently, and sell to different potential audiences/markets. You should probably try here to sell...we are pretty good all around..... thanks for the advice and I definitely will reach out to a few of th...

I’ve sold/traded several watches to DSW and Takuya. Both as easy as can be. You will absolutely get less than private sale, but as you said it’s extremely low risk.
thanks, do you prefer one over the other?

Re: Selling a Rolex to a

As much as I’m a fan of Rob & Topper, you will get less doing a trade than anything else. Grey dealers can be viable, just use the “buy the seller” mentality and go with a known operator. Selling privately is your high value option, but only if payment is via bank wire and if you have a commercial ...

Selling a Rolex to a "trusted grey"

Has anyone had luck with this and can you recommend any of them in particular? I'm considering selling my no date sub 41 but I personally don't feel comfortable selling it privately and shipping something so high valued. I'm willing to lose a couple bucks to have peace of mind and a painless transac...

dark side cordura strap works great on it for winter…
do you have any pictures of yours on the cordura strap? actually i'd love to see more pictures of it on the rubber too if you have some of those

Ceramic is hot fo sho
I've heard some stories about chipping from spring bar tools slipping and the horror stories of dropping the watch and the case actually cracking but I figure if I just wear it as is on the stock rubber most of those risks are avoided

Checked out the ceramic and titanium seamaster

I stopped by the omega boutique today in Chicago and checked out a few watches. The customer service there is top notch! I brought my little guy with me who is 6 and we had a great time. His favorite out of all of the watches we saw was the blue dial seamaster (see RJ you shouldn't sell it lol ...

Re: Thoughts on upgrading my blue SM300 for a blue OP41

or you could do something like keep the no date and the seamaster, sell the speedy and starbucks and pick up a polar exp 2?

black, white, blue and you trim it down to 3

or keep the no date, sell the speedy, blue seamaster and starbucks and then pick up a white seamaster and the blue OP41

Re: Thoughts on upgrading my blue SM300 for a blue OP41

I think it's a beautiful watch but the seamaster is too. I would also maybe get a little bored having only rolexes in my collection too. I like my sub but I don't like wearing it all the time. I actually feel a little self conscious about it sometimes. Not worried about being mugged or anything, mor...

I was pretty busy this year by my standards but nothing compared to the numbers you put up, Mike! I basically completely cleared out my collection and rebuilt it piece by piece over the year. First out was the g shock solar square: https://i.imgur.com/CvpkLw4.jpg Next out was the Seiko Solar Golden ...

Great when they get into watches, isn’t it?

What about a classic F91W?

That could work, I would probably need to trim the strap but definitely a good option, thanks!
