iPhone X

Mine was delivered yesterday. It’s pretty neat and a drastic improvement over the 6 I’ve been using for the past 2+ years (obviously). Face ID really works and it’s a little unsettling at first. So far it’s only failed when I held the phone to close to my face when I woke up this morning. Supposedly...

Re: Bell & Ross V1-92 Military Watch

That's probably the worst date window I have ever seen. Completely ruins a perfectly good watch. Checked these out at Wind Up...meh IMO, but the Autodromo aesthetic just doesn't do it for me anyway.

These are very nice. I had the opportunity to play with them at the recent event in NYC. I like their compressor diver as well. Congrats.

Change up! 42mm PAM 682 Sub! Panerai was my first real watch crush 10 plus years ago, and a 40mm PAM 48 was the first watch I bought over $3,000 or so. I have gone through a number of them over time with mostly Subs and Radiomirs, but have not owned one in a couple years (since selling the 106) in ...

https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4454/37987961966_1e96c74cf2_b.jpg Nice! I love these. How are you finding the size? Absolutely love it. The bezel is big and that helps with the balance. I am cool with vintage sizes as long as it doesn't go below 37mm (this is 37.3at case, a little more at bezel). Abo...

This brand has always been logo-challenged. They have some nice watches otherwise.

Had the opportunity to meet Jason at Wind Up today. He’s truly one of the good guys. He also had these: https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171028/d471ee9cfe0bd0daf4b027b2548a7f97.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171028/d277563428ad99981e74680de16a96a5.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171...

Re: Paul Newman Live Stream 14 mill plus already!

Speculation on TRF is that Rolex bought it based on some of the comments the auctioneer made. Would fit into the charity aspect of the Wilsdorf Foundation since proceeds from this went to Newman’s charity, but then again they aren’t really known to care about their history. Who knows

What are these “costs” attached to the 15.5 mill?
I assume buyer's premium? Money to the auction house tacked on based on a percentage of the hammer price.
