My first Zenith
Hi all, So I'd been looking to add a new watch to my small collection after a short while ago adding an all original vintage Omega Baby PloProf and was being drawn towards to either a Omega Speedmaster or the new Omega SM 300 but being easily distracted and after seeing someone posting their newly a...

Hi matt, I don't think I'm over thinking it at all and yes whilst you are right by the time they eventually got around to receiving stock I had purchased another watch a week earlier as found something that was better for me and that I preferred which is always down to personal taste and choice. I d...

@AntonioPD
Thanks for that information, so it doesn't seem like their was a last minute bidding frenzy which I was curious about but it still managed to raise funds for a good cause and that can never really be a bad thing.

Hi all, I really thought this was going to be my next watch but my terrible experience with my local Omega boutique really didn't help as the last time I was in there trying to find out when they where due was bad as I was also looking at the First Omega in Space and the sales guy tried to push me i...

@gwells and all You make a good point I have to admit to also feeling far less engaged by the staff at my local Omega Boutique in fact on the one but last interaction the sales person tried to move me on to an First Omega In Space and when I said I felt it was expensive for what it is as only comes ...

Hi all,
Did anyone manage to see what it actually sold for? as the link doesn't show anything any longer and the last price I saw late last night was £10,000. So its raised quite a lot for the cause it was supporting.

Hi all, I really thought this was going to be my next purchase but i haven't been able to get over the PCL's and faux patina in all the shots from new owners of it and before its managed to even show up at my local Omega Boutique a Zenith El Primero caught my attention in another jewellers display a...

Hi AntonioPD, I believe that is MSRP and the prices came from CW Sellors/ Jura who are a specialist independent luxury watch retailer consisting of 8 watch boutiques and a market leading e-commerce website and an official Bremont authorised dealer. The only good thing for the UK market at the moment...

Re: Bremont Boeing Collection
Hi all, I really do love both the black three hand and chrono versions of this watch as just think it looks stunning with its uncluttered and clean dial and clean looking case. The only thing that has stopped me from actually buying one besides the fact it hasn't been available yet is the price as h...

@belligero Actually he is talking about a famous Pork Pie not a hat. @all Obviously all the Bremont fans don't like what he is saying as its fairly obvious he is having a not so subtle dig at Bremont and hoping to inspire them to better and greater things in the future. There is little point in goin...

Re: Zenith Stratos Flyback Rainbow
Hi logan2z,
Those are two of the models I am looking at as well as the De Luca which looks more like a Daytona but unfortunately I can't look at any coming from the US or in fact outside the EU as at this price level the 20% import duty makes it to expensive to be worth it.

Re: Zenith Stratos Flyback Rainbow
Hi logan2z, I really like the original version a lot and am actually looking at trying to get one some time soon for my upcoming 55th birthday and I don't like the newer version at all as I find the dial on the new version to unbalanced and the size of the new version is too big IMO. Whilst the orig...

Re: I'm drawn to this El Primero
Hi all, I have been looking at the Zenith Rainbow Fly-Back but the earlier versions from around the 90's and also the De Luca which has a bit more of diver watch look to it. I have found some that are either T-Swiss Made-T or just Swiss Made Tritium dial versions with box and papers on the SS bracel...

Re: Are people really getting this much for Bunds?
Hi all,
I was looking at these on E-Bay Germany just the other day and their does indeed seem to of been a price hike especially for those that were issued with Bund numbers they now seem to be asking between 2250-2995 Euros on buy it now although they are open to offers.

Hi all, Day 2 for my new Scubapro 500 and its now on my GGB SV1 strap which is not only really comfortable but looks great to IMO. Hi all, Yet another member for the Scubapro 500 club as mine just arrived today a Silver Bezel version on a Isofrane 52018 which I believe is an old one original to watch or at least the right period. The watch is the one that was featured here http://thewatchspotblog.com/?p=4145 Which means at leas...

Hi all, I must admit I do find quite a few of the Bremont models to be very appealing although over here in the UK they really are very expensive and really don't seem to show up in the 2nd secondary market as much as they do for some of you guys in the US and never at the great prices you can pick ...

Hi Expat,
Nice UG but from what I have read you need to be really careful about those Hermes dialled versions as most of them are fakes.
