If I had to choose between the two, I would choose the sapphire purely for esthetics and liking the fact that I can see the actual movement. I don't dive or shower with my watches so durability is no issue.

Told u idiots to stay away from bronze. And I'm with Chris that 50L2L won't work for me.... :banplz: At least "in this month Mr Bettarini will prepare the technical specifications for this small Fondale version." Regarding the 50mm L2L, he understands that we would like to install 4mm thick straps....

My fondale cost 3500 new Yeah, but bronze would put this in line with the 47mm bronzos (judging by the most recent email), so might we assume something in the region of $5K :shrug: We shaved it down by at least 4mm(case), so hopefully it would be much cheaper. I thought bronze cost less than titani...
