Then I shared the price with her.
Always round down to the nearest $10,000... then divide that number by 50% before sharing.

FF is a great watch, but in SS, it's uncomfortably heavy on the bracelet IMO. Did they make a bracelet for the Ti version?
Agree, it's definitely too heavy in SS, but that image is actually of the new ti bracelet with the three-hander.

Re: the exit watch

There’s no such thing as an exit watch. Ask me why... I mean, I think a lot of guys get attached to the concept as something so unattainable that there's nowhere else to go. For me, it's definitely something that hurts a little, but at the same time, something that'll just keep me from reaching for...

My favorite meme to come out of all this is how the Hodinkee Travel Clock (or HTC) is now a monetary unit of measurement. Ie: that new blue-dialed Glashutte Original SeaQ costs 1.72 HTCs.

The comments on IG on the non-clock posts are literally the best shit I’ve seen all year. Chuffed to bits with this one.

I love the look too, but ceramic scares me. I wish it were DLC titanium. I’ve had my Bathy Ceramic for over 3 years. No issues. I’m usually more worried about any coating DLC/PVD etc, they all scratch, wear, and scuff. Of course it depends on what you do while wearing a watch but for daily desk div...

Re: Bell and Ross 2020

Copped one a couple weeks ago, and then coincidentally got 'the call' for a Blancpain. Gonna be a catch-and-release, but I'll be damned if it's not extremely cool. Just listed on WUS, but would be rad to keep it in the fam if anyone's game.

So good, but I really wish they'd have done it in grey ceramic or titanium or something other than black. My next watch is gonna be a Blancpain, wish it coulda been this one.

I enjoyed that Zach! I have the same brass beast of a pen too... :fro:
Works better as a prop than a writing instrument, but I sure enjoy how it feels in the hand.

Shameless self-promotion, but I wrote a story about my time in lockdown and how I only wore one watch the whole time. Shame it wasn't a diver... Maybe for the next quarantine? ;) https://www.ablogtowatch.com/one-watch-quarantine-pandemic-jaeger-lecoultre-geophysic/ https://www.ablogtowatch.com/wp-c...
