Re: Benrus Type II

they haven't sold out like the last ones did. i wonder what happened to the hype train? are there any blogs covering this release? Potential buyers might have noticed the abysmal resale of the type 1. It's a great watch, but as I said when it was first released, it's not a $1500 watch...and I own o...

If you can’t work out why allowing remote access to the functioning of your private property isn’t great, then you’re way more optimistic that I am. Yet millions of people willingly put wiretaps (Alexa, nest cameras) inside their home and are happy about it Yep, I find this hilarious. People say th...

Re: Speed Limiters are coming or rather are already here

I worked in management at a large chain of gun stores/range. My store was in the gun friendly state of Kentucky. Provided you were 21, had a KY Photo ID, and passed a background check you could buy a handgun, and walk out with it the same day provided you got a proceed and not a delay. Same rules a...

Re: Speed Limiters are coming or rather are already here

A better solution is improving driver education BEFORE a license is given. A prime example would be knowing that slower traffic should stay out of the fast lane regardless of the speed limit. Impeding traffic flow and causing a bottleneck is probably one of the biggest reasons why there are acciden...

When there's a less invasive solution to a problem and the government picks the more dystopian one... the tool is the point, not solving the problem. Here's looking at you, anti-gun lobby.... :puke: (Rant - I live in the #2 Murder City per capita , but have to go through a sh!t ton of training just...

How are they handling the second payment? Do they contact you to authorize it or are they just billing it to the card used for the first one? I don't think I've received any follow up emails, but seeing all you bums flexing your U50 pros is making me nervous that I missed something. They send an em...

Re: Speed Limiters are coming or rather are already here

Wouldn't the money to implement this be better spend on driver's education for kids? Obviously actually helping the problem isn't nearly as fun or newsworthy as shiny new toys/laws/technologies. Old(er) cars rule. I don't think this will cost much to implement in new production vehicles seeing that...

The balloon has popped but hasn't come back to land yet...there's a lot more to come. Just hoping that means I can finally buy a GMT Pepsi at retail. This Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro I hope so too. These watches have gotten so damn expensive at MSRP they’re barely justifiable at retail. ...

I know it's not really a heavy hitter but I got a call for a submariner date after only waiting on "the list" for 3 months. I was expecting at least a year or never based on what I heard on the forums.
That's a great sign. First time purchase with the AD?

Whatever it is it will be coded out like everything else socialist communist big brother sht Yeah. Therein lies the problem. I sure hope they soften. I haven't ever been able to understand why OPs are selling above MSRP for years when ADs could barely sell them a few years ago. I have a few crowns on the hit list, but will wait because I think we're in for a skid that will last a few years.

Lol. It’s not a heavy watch. It replaced my IWC AT GST, which was a brick. The smaller size of this is perfect for my wrist.

FedEx delivered mine yesterday at my office. Drove by there today to pick it up(I’m off for 4 weeks due to office renovation). I’ll open it later and take some cell pics.
Damn. Let’s see it.
