Forget the "TAG", it’s a Heuer[emoji28]

I don’t know why they haven’t removed the TAG from the logo. Heuer is so much better.
I agree. I always just call them Heuers in conversation.

Re: Zenith El Primero A384 Revival Review

The simple case doesn’t do it for me, though the size is primo. I love the case shape - different than the run-of-the-mill round case. The size is my only concern. Different strokes... I was worried about both the case shape and size, but was pleasantly surprised when I saw it and tried it on yeste...

Re: Zenith Defy Inventor Review

They’re gonna need to invent a buyer for that watch. It's pretty crazy, but surprisingly it's doing super well. We couldn't even get one in to review, this is actually a Zenith employee's personal watch he loaned to us for it. Of course, that's as much a product of supply as is demand, since they m...

Re: Omega Dark Side of the Moon Apollo 8 Review

Definitely my favorite in the current Speedy lineup. Lots of character and small details that make it really unique and love the yellow accents too. I agree. I'm definitely an outlier in the watch world, but the Speedmaster Professional has always been too...professional...for me. I need something ...

Re: An Introduction to Credor

They are getting better, at least. The hand wound spring drives are finally starting to make it into Grand Seikos and wow does it make a difference in person. I wouldn't call the SBGY003 an ultra-thin, but it really looked and felt a lot thinner than other Grand Seikos.

IMO, the SBGA211 is much better looking Well you certainly can't go wrong with one. The fact that it's so perfect is one of the reasons we thought twice about messing with the Snowflake itself. Hmmmm....I really like this one and have not yet had a grand seiko.... Interesting, the SBGE249? What mak...

Re: GS Blue Snowflake SBGA407 Review

I like this a lot, but even at 40.2mm a dressy mostly dial watch is too big for me. At 38x11mm I’d probably sell something and buy this. I'm really hoping they come out with a 38mm Snowflake option at some point. They do currently offer a 38.5mm SBGZ001, but it's so wildly expensive that for most S...

Re: GS Blue Snowflake SBGA407 Review

Something about that case style just seems cheap to me. It's too close to their Presage line. Even that crown looks cheap. I guess I just like my GS with the more angular cases, with brushed and polished surfaces. I think an all-polished case can come off cheap to many people. If you could handle i...

Thanks for the great write up. It's a beautiful watch and I like the dial changes, but 41 is too big for me.
It is kind of amazing that with all the success the Snowflake's had, there's no 38mm version yet.

Re: Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Ceramic & Titanium Review

I’m still waiting for a normal sized ceramic watch. I’m not sure why they’re all upsized. Omega clearly seems to think that people want unnecessary thickness. That seems to be what they (and many others) think. I think for a lot of less-informed buyers, thickness equates to toughness, so when you'r...
