Re: Anyone Having Problems Navigating DWC

There was a problem with the database but I've repaired it. Give it a try now and see if it's fixed for you. Aka switch it off, switch it on again, or the two screwdrivers trick? https://i.pinimg.com/736x/53/bb/3f/53bb3f41d1fb17aa28b506c6b03980bd.jpg  ... I switched it on and off again. ...

In the past, I've used a silicone grease (Shin Etsu) or a silicone to get under the bezel. Side benefit is it keeps the rubber gasket from drying out. It's the same stuff the watchmakers use when lubing up rubber o-ring gaskets for crowns and casebacks.

Thanks for the tip. ...

Re: Forzen Bezel

Why are you spraying your watch with lens cleaner? Water and a rag should do the same. The rubber gasket might be frozen in place or it might be something else. Soaking in water would be step 1. If that doesn't work, might have to pop off the bezel. Do not spray anything else in there. Not spraying...

Re: Forzen Bezel

My first go to attempt to free a bezel is to soak it in a sink of soapy hot water for 15+ minutes. Then slowly rock the bezel back and forth while still in the soapy water. I’ve been able to get sand grains out this way. Thanks Rog. I'll give it a shot. Let you know how it went in 20 or so minutes,...

Re: Forzen Bezel

I messed up my Tuna, so I’ll offer limited advice. Don’t force or pry anything. I also wouldn’t use any lube or chemicals, as they may damage gaskets like the crystal gasket and allow moisture in. Warm water only. Maybe soapy warm water if you’re feeling like a shower. If you remove the shroud the ...

Hey guys, Asking for your opinion/s or ideas re. the bezel on my Ninja Tuna. This one; https://www.thedivewatchconnection.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=58&t=73497&p=1407992&hilit=seiko+ninja+tuna#p1407992 Bezel won't turn. I'm guessing since I use a lens cleaner to wipe the watch down. Which is a routin...

Re: Advise In Using The Auxillary Option In The Jeep's OEM Radio

Well, got everything saved in Amazon. I was looking at my Galaxy Tab A (don't want to carry a devise this size in the Jeep), and figured I'd play around with it. I hope by playing around with the Tab A, will give me a feel on how this stuff works. I ordered the Jack converter from Amazon (3.5mm mal...

Um, no it doesn’t. SIM cards allow you to connect to carrier networks.

Which he won’t need as he won’t be using it as a phone.

Re: Advise In Using The Auxillary Option In The Jeep's OEM Radio

You can always buy an iPhone SE. (2016 model like this one), and just hook it up to your WiFi and use it for an MP3 player. Get it, hook up to your WiFi, then go to YouTube music and download your song. This still has a 3.5mm jack, so once you have the songs on it, just plug it in to your car aux j...

Couple of YouTube tutorial vids, re. converting music vids to MP3 files. Didn't know I already had VLC media player downloaded on my windows 7 laptop. Re: Advise In Using The Auxillary Option In The Jeep's OEM Radio

You will need to use computer to put music on the MP3 player. Newer MP3 player will probably let you drag and drop the files. Or just buy an old model smart phone and use a music app and your computer to transfer music from CDs. Thanks! This sounds easy as well. Great ideas! Appreciate the time tak...

I hope I get the type of years, and millage like you guys. Bought Calvin's Jeep JK back in 2014 (so close to 10 years). Odometer is a hundred or so miles shy of 28,900. I still have an extended warranty till 2026. Now that my friend sold his business. I'll be putting more miles on the Jeep. That’s ...
