Re: Insight from Seiko boys needed

Can't go wrong with a 6309, and you should be able to get your fix for under $250 - I am on my sixth I think. Probably one of the most comfortable cases on the wrist, but some days I find myself wishing it were a little heavier...

Wear it in good health :gayumbrella:

Juan, I don't know how you keep getting all these crazy watches...

I saw one in HK recently - the guy was asking something like 3k for it

Re: Eterna Kontiki Concept Diver on mesh

Don't know if it's the "understrapping" effect or what, but this looks like one of the very, very few times that the Omega mesh doesn't quite jive.

What's the lug-to-lug on that thing? I really want one.

I guess this is the kind of forum that lets its members string others along for days on end. I certainly do not wish to be a part of this kind of environment. Goodbye all, forever.

Smokin' hot. It's also interesting to see a more "conventional" case design from Zixen among the other vintage-inspired beauties.

I got to fondle one, hard, in HK a couple of weeks ago. This thing is even sweeter in the metal... http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s112/hadakajime/Tuna.jpg Then there were these old-timers in an adjacent store: http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s112/hadakajime/tunas.jpg Dolphin? Graeme, it'll be all the sweeter when you finally do release the watch. Likely not the last challenge you'll face, but that bad-ass design needs to be realized - get 'er done!

Huh. All this time I thought they were illuminated by the aura of their owners' awesomeness. That's only about 40% of the lume Henry. Only if the Rolex finds the person wearing it worthy. If you ever see someone wearing a non-glowing Rolex, you'll know that person has a weak spirit and a corrupt so...

Re: Maple Leaf GSAR

looks kinda cool. is this part of their newer models? Countycomm says that these were commissioned by the Canadian DND in November 2009. Apparently only 500 were made, and they only have "a very few". Already have a TSAR and a regular GSAR in the collection...that little red leaf isn't that special...

Maple Leaf GSAR

Saw this one on the CC website today. Usually not too crazy about maple leaves, stars and stripes etc. on my consumer durables but in this case I think it looks sweeeeet...maybe because it matches the steel/black/red GSAR colour scheme and also ties in to the military/armed forces provenance? What d...

One detail I especially like is the beefy flip lock portion of the clasp. Looks good man - you've got the wrist for it.
