Looking forward to seeing what's coming. I've been itching for something new and haven't owned a Sinn for a long time.

Re: GO SEAQ Pano date

Went to try the Carrera LE 60th. The dial and dome are well done, looks very cool. But it just wore small and didn’t feel like a 7-8k watch as good as it looks on pics. For me I’d want a 41mm case and 6k price point. So I passed. Here's an alternative for you - the just-announced VC Overseas Chrono...

Re: Chrono24 Laying off 13% of Employees

I had no idea they were that big. Me neither. But this was the most surprising part of the article for me: The Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711 with a blue dial has fallen 35 percent to roughly $103,000 (£84,000), while the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak with a blue dial decreased by 29 percent to a...

Re: GO SEAQ Pano date

I just saw the chronograph, and for my taste, that's the clear winner in the lineup. https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/2930/0774/products/glashutte-original-seaq-chronograph-bracelet-topper_540x.png?v=1664404855 I like it, but too far removed from the original for my taste. The Pano date is very cool and a differentiator vs my current collection too.
I love the GO Pano date, I have it on my Senator Observer. But the position of it on the SeaQ looks odd to my eye.

Re: GO SEAQ Pano date

One thing that keeps me from pulling the trigger is the large arrow on the end of the minute hand. Seems disproportionately large and I wonder how I’d feel about it long term. It's a pretty good facsimile of the original (on the left). I like it, but it might be an acquired taste. https://static.fr...

Re: GO SEAQ Pano date

I love the brand as well and still own my Senator Observer. The SeaQ has been on my radar for a while, but I'd probably go with the variation below as I don't love the panorama date at the 4:30 location. https://hodinkee.imgix.net/shop/images/c56de660-09ca-457b-aa46-118ad72eddcc/1-39-11-06-80-06__Se...

NWA Picked this beauty up from the AD last night. IWC Portugieser IW371620 on the OEM IWC rubber strap. I Always loved the Portugieser line up but they always seemed a bit dressy for me and it never was the right time. This one strikes the right balance, with the blue subdials & font as well as the...

Re: Black Friday and Cyber Monday: What do you think?

I picked up a bunch of photography monographs this year at really good prices - generally 20-30% off. At least for those items, I think the sales this year were better than in previous years.

Happy Anniversary! I believe 10 years on DWC earns you the special Band of Dickheads anniversary gift pack. Expect to receive the following: - some belly button lint from Ben - toenail clippings from Adam (these have been stored unused in Jay’s safe) - XXL “ladies” undergarments from Terry - a 1661...

A Decade on DWC? Time flies...

I just happened to notice that my join date on DWC is 11/24/2012, exactly 10 years ago today! Hard to believe it's been that long. While I haven't bought any watches in the last few years, I still enjoy the hobby and check in on the forum multiple times a day - it's always entertaining and it's grea...
