Re: Spring Drive diver incoming

It just looks amazing. I'd love to have one, but this one may be forever on my unattainable list.

Re: Motorola Moto X to iPhone 5s New Phone Fun

I got an iPhone 5 not long ago. I think I finally get what all the fuss is about. I had a Samsung Galaxy SIII before this one.

Re: Watches under $1000 you still enjoy to wear?

Summer is over here in the South. I can finally wear leather straps and not sweat to death. This morning I reminded myself after putting a leather strap on this watch that you don't have have to spend a lot of money to enjoy this hobby. Please post what mechanical watch you still occasionally wear ...

Re: Ball Engineer II Red Label -- Experience?

I've always loved Ball watches. I'd be curious to see the bracelet that goes with the grey one posted. It looks great on the strap, but I dress so casually lately that it would look out of place on a strap for me most of the time.

Re: Grand Seiko Roadshow on December 13th 2013 @ AZ Fine Tim

Dealers being the only one to do big write ups in the watches is not doing anything for their brand image in the US, IMO. At least on the forums... which is the market they're obviously targeting with the reviews. They need to get them in the hands of some of the well known heavy hitters on the maj...

Re: Another great Seiko GS review

I wish they would use even a small amount of lume if they are going to make the hands look like that. My SARB has small lume markings. They aren't that noticeable in the light, but it's just enough to be legible at night. I don't mind the lack of lume on the solid smooth hands though.

One hot hatch I really like. They really did well with the interior.

Re: Another great Seiko GS review

It's the first time I've ventured out and bought something other than a diver and I'm enjoying it more than I thought. I've always liked the GS but never thought of it being something Is actually buy. I'm starting to question it now for once.

I want to read it but I stopped as soon as I read "quartz". Gay. If not paying 2k for a quartz is gay then I don't want to be straight, rimjob. Edit- a dress quartz. Not even something cool like a tuna or Sinn ezm2 If you don't know how to tongue butthole, you don't know how to party. I honestly th...

I kind of like that rootbeer one. I'd have to see real world photos before I'd pick one up though.

Re: Grand Seiko Roadshow on December 13th 2013 @ AZ Fine Tim

I love gold with white dials. I almost bought a gold SARB, but I thought a plated case wouldn't age well. I wish I had that kind of watch money, it just isn't an only type of watch for me. This is one of the few I'd have to have.

With this many propellers and especially the caseback one not being connected to anything, this damn watch better make me fly.

Re: Another great Seiko GS review

I've always seen these understated GS's as the perfect watch for me. I've always loved divers, but these seem to be the true epitome of a Seiko. I'd go with a Spring Drive or Hi-Beat if I had the coin.

Re: How does Invicta do it?

Honestly most the people I talk to here who think they are WIS only know about Invicta and Rolex. No way, you forgot Black Monster  Honestly I have never seen a Monster out in the wild. :bs: I saw one once. I've also seen a black bezel Tuna. Other than that the only WIS type Seikos I see are ...

Nice little dresser. Is there lume on the hands?

I've seen the white faced version of this watch, which is very sharp as well.
It has a small amount of lume. Not the typical Seiko torch, but it is pretty legible at night.
