Re: Denim
So you don't wash after wearing or do? I hate wearing jeans more than 2x as they get baggy feeling unless they get washed. Raw denim diff? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk I am in the wash them when they are dirty camp. You won’t get as dramatic fades, but they will still fade and you will have...

Re: Denim
Also, raw denim avoids the treatment that most jeans got through to look aged. Waste of water and harsh chemicals are used.

So high level question. What's the overall benefit to selvedge? Other than spending 10x. Too lazy to sift thru 200 posts. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk IMO selvedge is better quality than more model denim. Raw denim is unlike your clasp. The wear and tear is unique to you. As for manufacturi...

They have 22-18 straps.Aaron Shapiro wrote: ↑Sat Mar 03, 2018 10:10 amI don't see straps that are for deployants here, I'm pretty sure the IWC strap tapers from 22 to 18.
Is it a pin and buckle deployant?

Re: Denim
It’s like watches, there’s a difference. Typically, they can range from sub $100, ie Levis, Unbranded, up to $700 for Japanese denim.
Rogue Territory is around $220-270 and Pure Blue Japan start around $300.

Re: Denim
Different price point than watches, so you can go down the rabbit hole fast.
The whole not washing thing seems to have been replaced by wash your pants.
Not sure if people are sitting doing soaks in the tub either.

Re: Do you think we'll ever switch to Metric?
I'm cool with mm on watch related stuff and small measurements in general. But for items less than a meter, I use inches. I have no mental idea what is 10cm long. I guess it's all about what you're used to. 10cm is 10% of a meter. 3 feet to a yard and 36 inches to yard is not as intuitive to me. So...

Re: NEW Beard Company in town, and they are one of our own!
I’ve been lucky in the beard department. Any of you guys who are not beardly challenged getting a benefit from products like these? I do from the beard balm/beard oils definitely. If you don't use something like that then your skin under your beard dries out, and it can then itch or flake like dand...

Re: NEW Beard Company in town, and they are one of our own!
I can’t grow a beard for love nor money. I feel this thread is discriminatory against the facial hair challenged amongst us. Good luck Ralph, happy to hear it’s still going. We'll have a separate club for plain skin care. Sounds good to me. I’m required to be clean shaven at work. P...
