Re: Christopher Ward Aquitane collection

I think these look rather boring compared to some of their other stuff. If you remove the logo, there isn't really much that stands out. If they are using the C65 lightcatcher case then maybe some profile shots would help. I have always fallen short of getting a CW and this doesn't help their cause ...

Re: Tudor FXD

Oh, forgot to add, one AD said it was partly due to inscription on case back with M.N. and year of manufacter. Apparently they will only be sold in each specific year. What will happen to any 2022 items that done get sold? Even though these are non limited watches, they could be creating a bit of hy...

Tudor FXD

Hi all, Popped in to town today, went to 2 Tudor AD, thought i would check out the Pelagos FXD only to be told there is a long waiting list! Is Tudor heading same way as Rolex? Just wondering what availability is over on that side of the water. Have been really keen to see this one since launch so n...

Re: New Longines Spirit Zulu Time Collection

Yes, this is a great version. 42mm is doable. I tried the 3 hand version Spirit in 40mm and it was very nice. Dial execution is superb. The lugs are long but did not seem as pronounced as LLD. I will wait til this one hits AD and will try it on. Lugs look a big shorter to me Sent from my SM-T580 usi...

Re: BELL & ROSS BR 03-92 Diver WHITE

It looks great. Agree with Brice, ceramic case and white dial would look cool.
Either way, Bell and Ross putting out some good stuff on the 03 case. It's very wearable

Re: Rover Metro - days with Dad

Very cool! I’m not familiar with the metro as I don’t think it ever came stateside(?). Did modifying/tuning them ever take off like the mini? No, in true BMC style, they died a slow painful death due to poor build quality and building cars from the spares box! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

Re: Rover Metro - days with Dad

I had a panic attack when I saw the driving picture thinking there was going to be a head on crash, and felt dumb when I realized where the picture was taken  seriously though, absolutely right to enjoy and appreciate time with dad  All these weird people driving on the wrong side.. Rover Metro - days with Dad

Hey guys Had another great weekend with dad. Finally managed to go for a spin in his Rover Metro. This one is very rare, only 31 left on the road. He picked it up for a bargain £1300, its only done 29k miles. Fantastic little car, it's got the K Series engine. A whole 1100cc but it's a lovely little...

Re: Mini fun

Today I managed to get round to fitting the glass washer bottle upgrade. The bracket I made for it fixed in easily with plenty of space. Its foam lined so should protect from breaking when driving. I need to add a bungy to hold it in place. Removed old pump and added now one closer to washer bottle ...

Re: Mini fun

Finally got round to getting the new wheels fitted, very happy with the look. I dont think I will need a spacer kit but will definitely lower rear suspension to level it out with front. Picked up a roof rack, that was a bastard to assemble but it's on. I will do some fettling on it as the screws sup...

Re: Mini fun

Still waiting to get my wheels fitted. The down side to a classic Mini, no local tyre fitter has machines that can take 10 inch wheels In the meantime, I thought I would crack on with my glass washer bottle and holder. For no other reason than it will look cool (hopefully). Using a Mason preserving ...

Re: Mini fun

New wheels arrived yesterday. Deep dish 4.5 inch. Can't wait to get tyres fitted. Will lower rear suspension and then see if I need to fit spacers. I want wheels to protrude about 2cm if possible. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220119/835859b1ea98d41835e034ff01b85d3a.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk...
