Re: Pink dial you got to be kidding

I kind of like it. I'm sure my wife would love it.

On that note if I ever buy a Porsche it'll be this color. Frozen berry metallic.

Re: Victorinox Swiss Army's new Journey 1884

I can't help but have my eyes directed to the lugs. It looks awkward both on a bracelet and a strap. Makes me think of the Seiko BFK. funny, my eyes can't move away from the squared off hour and minute hands. I like the rest, however those hands are....different Now I can't unsee that! On second lo...

I like Seiko, but I’ve never had a Seiko that I liked the bracelet and end link fit.

They’re awkward at best to flat out terrible on every driver.
First thing I did was take it off the bracelet.

I’ve had one of these for a few weeks now. The strap material great. I think I like it more than my gold metal square.

I love the look of no dates(wearing one now) and no matter how much I use it I can't seem to just remembering the date and wish my watch had a date window.

I knew that's what it is, but I still don't particularly like the way it works. It reminds me too much of some decal on the bed of an offroad truck. Reminds me a bit of the Nissan PRO4X badge for some reason.

I just love these dials. I've got a cheapo Bensen-Elektra that was my grandfather's but it's not a high quaility piece with this type of styling. The casing is cheap and the movement is borked. I just love the look of it though.

I think even if I wasn't into watches that I'm OCD on things enough that things need to be aligned perfectly and I would think that would translate to proper time set.

Re: Looking for a Seiko Diver - Thoughts?

I'd kill for another Marinemaster, I just feel weird spending much on a watch these days. I really should have kept the one I had and had Seiko Japan fix it. I know it wouldn't have been cheap but it probably would have been worth it. It was my daily at the time.

Oh man that just flashed me back to when I worked in major sales at costco in 2005 in Everett (closest store to Boston) That's my local Costco! They usually have something cool in the display case. Right now, it's a Glycine Combat. Haven't seen anything high-end in a long time, though. They have Gl...

Re: How Has Financing Affected Your Watch Buying Habits?

I only did it a couple of times using the 6 month PayPal interest free. I bought my gold G-Shock and Spinnaker this way. Not huge money. I wouldn't do it for a watch I didn't already have the money for, just benefit of the money not leaving my account right away.

I have three reasons for Facebook and I still wish it would just go away. Outside of those things I coul...

That seems like a deal. I need to check my local BB. I have an older MacBook Pro and I’ll never go back to a windows PC or laptop. Can’t remember how long I’ve had it, several years. Processor is 1.4GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 Maybe 4-5 years old ? It’s been much more reliable, never get virus or w...
