Re: Considering a MM300. Some questions for the experts her

Bracelet uses pins and the comfort of it is totally dependent on the size of your wrist. One notable issue, is the long "short side" of the bracelet. That's what gives people issues.

Tudor?

Didn't realize tudor was a new brand and 8k on up. Thanks for shedding light on that.

:bs:
I think Tudor is actually a very nice bargain at their current prices.

Re: Bremont Vs Rolex

As long as some of us are being subjective about this, one factor that has been mentioned is that Bremont is less known (much less known) than Rolex; for me that's an advantage. In the circles I run, one of the problems with my Speedy was it may have been viewed as a little pretentious and "above m...

Thanks guys. He almost backed out at one point and that's when I knew I really wanted to sell it. I was about to put it up for sale here - then he reconsidered. As for the Alt1-C/Black, I'll definitely buy pre-loved; I asked Rob at Topper to let me know if he gets one in. I'm also watching Recon, b...

Re: Bremont Vs Rolex

Have you ever flipped one? I've flipped 7 of them and none have been easy. Unless your Bremont is the current flavor of the week, they tend to move slower than other brands IMO. I'll also add that I've lost more money on Bremont flips than on other brands and only once was one purchased new. I have...

Re: Non-functional HEV

Off topic: on my last visit to his shop I took a look at some of the watches he recently polished and I was shocked at how good they looked given that he doesn't have a lapping machine. He's extremely talented. It is an art in itself I've always been staunchly of the opinion that a watch with sharp...

Cool so there are more then I thought. I wonder if Omega tests their SMP and PO Omega's water resistance guide says that each watch is tested to the rated depth. So they are doing it right. This is the kind of fly by night BS that has me very leery of micros. I know two certified Rolex repairers wh...

Thanks guys for having me check this out! Customer Service clarified the bill. The watch will be fully serviced, regulated, water tested threading unit replaced, new crown for $360. The additional $360 is for a total new case for the watch. They don't polish the cases they say the SS is produced in...
