Re: Schauer Watches

I'd be interested in the thoughts of others..... I'm thinking this line is much more "built" in house by Jorg than the Stowa line.... I may be wrong, or way out of bounds.. but I see the Stowa line as the affordable line that is probably Asian case and components and finished in Germany. The Schaue...

Re: Inexpensive Watch for Lady

My wife loves her Hamilton Jazzmaster. Not exactly chunky though. Ashford has them on sale too, they had one under $200. Ashford's a good site to check out, some great deals.

Re: New IWC Aquatimers?

Aside from the mint green lume, I actually kind of like it. Definitely better than the current version, but not nearly as much as the 3536/3538. The all black looks good. I'm guessing it's still 44mm? For the love of god, I hope they change the lug system so Art can relax.

Re: Schauer Watches

I had the Edition 11 (3rd one down) and it was fantastic. Very well finished, as you'd expect from Jorge's "upscale" brand. It was pricey compared to Stowa, if I remember it was around $3500 new years ago. I think they go around $2000ish or even less used if you can find them, so it's definitely no...

Re: Watch rentals

Interesting concept, but doing the math, it'd be more cost effective to buy/flip on your own. Unless I'm misreading, it'd basically cost $1000 to rent a Rolex sub (or similar) for 2 months.

Ghey dress watch GTG is Ghey  No way. Sure we'll talk men's fashion and grooming products, but then we're going to rob the Nakatomi Tower. Trust me, nobody's going to be talking men's fashion and grooming products with me - I have no style and my grooming products consist of soap, deodorant, a...

Jeff, thats one of the nicest and few dress watches I've seen that I'd want to wear. What the dial size on your Zenith? Jules Thanks Jules! It's 40mm. Edit - the case is 40, pretty sure the dial is 35mm. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2 Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2

Just saw that, love it!

I'm sure my sub's still going to monopolize wrist time, but I like that this is a very different alternative.

Ah you did it! Looks great. Let's try for coffee Friday if you're around, I should have the Constant by then. We can have a big ghey dress watch GTG. Yeah, I caved. Friday morning I have an appointment, and will actually have a legitimate reason to wear the Zenith, but I should be freed up by late ...

I like dress watches

There, I said it. I don't even dress up that often. But then again, I don't dive that often either, and I don't feel the need to justify wearing a dive watch. But I guess it's time I came out of the closet, and I just got this Zenith Heritage Ultra Thin today. Flame suit on! http://i168.photob...
