This meets the definition of nonbinary for watches imo. Freaking disaster.

I think someone been looking here… I think this may be in response to this thread. Re: Ares Watches
Btw, I just went to that instagram post to see if there were any comments, as I thought maybe I’m way off base and it’s about something else I’m not aware of as I don’t follow the page or brand regularly. I noticed comments are off. Then I looked at other posts and comments are off for all posts. T...

it seems like he just wanted to take the military/CIA thing and turn it into a cash grab. He seems oblivious to the issues with defective watches and aggravated customers and chooses not to address them at all. Re: Ares Watches
Sad story to listen to… I’ve heard similar stories elsewhere but had zero issues with the four that I’ve owned. Always liked the design and loved the lume. I’ve had two stock ones and two LE’s - let my last one go in my one of my last burn down sales. Glad I never had to get them serviced, although...

Re: Matt’s SPB383
The GMT is a definite wrist hugger. I think more so than the 62mas re-editions. The GMT movement has some killer reserve. The only quibbles for me was the shiny bezel insert, and I was thinking it had lume better than my SKX. But that was not the case imo. This watch had me thinking about picking on...

Man that is one vintage re-edition I do not believe they messed up. That is as long as they don't come out with 9 different sizes/versions of the same one.
Thanks for posting it Shannon!

Re: Someone school me on roasting coffee
A friend mine used a air popcorn popper before opening his own place and doing it professionally. Here is basically what he did: https://thecaptainscoffee.com/pages/roasting-coffee-in-a-popcorn-popper I almost went this route. But I know I’ll start to nerd out over this shit and buy a fancy roaster...

Re: Certina’s new DS Super PH1000M
That looks cool. I’d have to replace that strap immediately. I don’t like the curved wave straps on Seikos either. The style might be polarizing, but those “wave” straps do work well for diving. As long as it isn’t that Hirsch strap I would probably like it. The Hirsch sucks for a boa constrictor o...

Re: Tudor Submariner Snowflake 1973
Toxicavenger, why would the lume rub the dial, is it not only on the top of the hands? The hands are hollow in the middle and lume fills the gap. I believe they said the hands were previously re-lumed and over filled? And if the lume is flaking off and landing on dial, it can stain it over time. Bu...

I owned the black dial version with the bezel. Freaking lume was great and the watch was super easy to read. You will like it for sure. Congrats!

Re: Tudor Submariner Snowflake 1973
The material has been replaced in the past and is too thick, which is making contact with the dial. We use period correct material which will match the dial indices in color, texture and UV response. You can see the ghosting/light gray rubs in the center of the dial from the hour hand rubbing it. E...

If I go custom, can I decide to not have custom on the dial? Now that would be custom.
