The color combos are cool though, especially the black one, and I like the matte finish as well.

Now I have the 2 1/2 men theme song going through my head, thanks!

Very cool! I have two Bulova accutrons with the same case back.
One from 1968 and one from '69.

Mine make that one look big .
True that. I have a Bulova hand winder from the 50s, and it's tiny. It was my dad's, watches were just smaller back then.

Re: New Omega Boutique Planet Ocean’s

Omega needs to figure out a way to make thinner divers, it's been years since they made all their divers too thick with the in house movements. The gray one is nice looking though.

That's cool. The case reminds me of a Radiomir with thicker lugs, though obviously smaller.

What are the case dimensions?
It's 36.6 x 42 x 11 thick. So probably too small for you! Wears like my 36 Explorer.

Re: King Seiko 56KS

I have my FILs LM 5206-6020 which was one of the models before this one although doesn't say hi-beat on the dial. Needs servicing and i've been putting it off forever... Not sure if anyone has the know how as the 5206 movements quick set date is fragile and that's currently part of the problem. I t...

Nice, but I think I still prefer the ss white dial with ceramic bezel. I love that watch, and would choose it over a Daytona.

I'd keep the SKX. I should have never sold the 10 or so of them I've had over the years.

Re: Experiences SELLING to online dealers?

The last couple high end watches I sold to mdgrwl in NJ. (that's his username on WUS, TRF, etc) I contacted the regulars also, but he gave me the best offer. Very easy transaction, he sent me the shipping label and paid as soon as he received the watch. He has always paid exactly what he quoted. Her...

I just got that email too. Parcel Pro is my backup, and I've been using them for years, whenever I couldn't use CGI (Jorge's old company) or WWT. Their service is great, but they are pricier than WWT.

Re: King Seiko 56KS

Very nice indeed. Round numbers what range of coin do these cost in that kind of condition? Prices are all over the place - I saw non chronometer versions that weren't in such good shape for as low as $500, and chronometers like mine (but not in as good shape) over $2k. Mine fell right in the middl...

King Seiko 56KS

I'm not typically a vintage guy, and I almost bought a new King Seiko last week, but when I compared what the new vs the vintage offered, the vintage was a no brainer with it's hi beat chronometer movement. This is a 5625-7041 from 1974, is in near NOS condition, and was recently serviced, keeping c...
