Re: What do you drive???

got a camaro to go with my truck.
v8 with a 6 speed - it’s a hell of a lot of fun.
I’m going to have to sell several watches to pay for it, but I think I’ll get more enjoyment out of the car.

Re: Save money on all your insured shipping costs with CGI!

I’ve been to both parcelpro and cgi today to try to get signed up for one or the other. Both of the registration forms wanted my business name, trade references, tax id number etc... Is there anything out there for an individual non business owner that just needs to ship a few expensive items? Did a...

Re: Stand up desk for schools

Most of the people in my office are too far gone to stand up more than a few minutes at a time. I got an Apple watch a few months ago and wear it to work occasionally. It was eye opening to see how little I move and how few calories I burn during an average day. There is one spike when I workout on ...

Re: Pelagos vs U1

I’d say they wear about the same, with the exception of the substantial weight difference. Tudor’s clasp beats Sinn all day, though. I have them both, and these are my feelings as well. They are about the same size and wear the same. There is a major weight difference - everytime I pick up the U1 I...

I read a review of the first episode and thought it may be too "woke" for me.

I'm working my way through Banshee now which was a good suggestion from another thread here..

Will be ordering one in 20mm, too.
I have not found a strap I really like on my Autavia Chronograph.

I may have to order that strap in 21mm - it looks great..

Re: Modern Cars Do Nothing Leave Me Cold

which one? both twin turbos and both terrorize the neighborhood in winter! What are the repair bills like on the X5M? That would be one bad ass family ride.. Horror stories about used german cars have scared me off - but hell, you've got 3 of them! Maybe you need to have 3 to make sure one is alway...

Re: New Aquadive Poseidon Bathyscaphe GMT 100 Limited Edition

Just noticed the website now says the thickness is 14.1mm including the caseback... This watch is starting to sound exactly like the GMT that has been out for a while - except with a big logo on it and $600 cheaper. I wish they would do a $1395 sale on the other versions - I would be in for a standa...

Re: Hodinkee will do anything for a buck

You didn't know that "techniques for photographing watches have evolved over the last few decades?" Where've you been? I can't take a wrist picture that doesn't make my watch look 150mm in diameter while simultaneously making my wrist look 2 inches in circumferences. I'm not sure I want to pay Ben ...
