hardlex only
A 6217 was domed acrylic but it’s Hardlex in the 6306/6309 onward. Even my 6138 from ‘72 was Hardlex.
Good to know. :salute:

Re: Just in Monta Triumph!

Your pics and review are making me want one of these, Terry. How has the movement been performing? Does it wear true to it's size or big/small? Really well executed piece. I have owned a ton of Sellita 3 hander's and I have never had an issue with them at all. Most of my Marcello C's wer...

Re: 7002-7009 A1 Complete overhaul

You must not be Anchorage, maybe in Eagle RIver or farther out. Most of the people in Anchorage are scared of guns it seems. I'm in the valley, and I open carry a 1911, .45. I get some looks when I go into Anchorage, Olive Garden, Sam's, the mall. When I have a formal occasion I wear my Glock, or C...

Today I wore it on a cheap knock off velcro strap. I really love this watch.

Did I mention the lume is really good on this watch. Not Seiko lume but more like Rolex intensity. Here is a pic my buddy James took of his.

Damn Terry’s new natos are nice. The 295 is a great strap, but for me it fit really weird on the 300. The holes are pretty far apart, so for me it was either too tight or too big. It looked great, though.

Agreed. The 295 works on some watches but not many.

Re: why won't anybody touch Girard Perregaux?

I bought one for a friend that worked with my in Iraq back in the day. It was a super dope watch and I loved the bracelet on it. He still has it, but he lives in Brazil and he is scared to wear it because of crime in his hood. So it just sits in his watch box now. This thing is cool as shit. Still ...

Re: Selling fake branded watch straps is OK?

Some look better then others.... I would never where a strap like the one posted above and I also don't care at all for LV in general. But..I did make one some time ago when my wife found an old and damaged LV bag when cleaning out our closets in order to move into our new house. It was her idea an...

That Bajtwat guy is a sneaky rat. I wouldn’t piss on him if he was on fire.
He is. First watch that isn't marked up 1000%% though. Rare for him. How about his shitty pics not showing the real condition of the watch

Re: Solid nato watch

I don't understand why it can't be worn on a bracelet. The lug holes are probably drilled differently. if you look close, it doesn't look like the screwbars thread in all the way. It's probably a bad case that should've never been completed. Oh okay I see that now. So it was basically a throw away ...

I've got one. It's not a super supple rubber, to be honest.
I was told he now has a V2 of this strap that is suppose to be softer.
