Re: Nato Buying Guide

Well all that tells us is who spends more on advertising on that site. You are right there. I was kind of annoyed/disappointed by the comparison to C&B. But they have been in business a long time. So I guess I am doing something right to get mentioned in the article. :salute:  And th...

I like the SS version Dave. I just couldn't get it for the same price as the Fools Gold Tuna. So I passed on it.

I really love this watch a lot.

I just stumbled across the mido ocean star in titanium...I had never heard of it but it looks really promising and a nice alternative to the Shogun.
It is definitely an alternative for sure.

Re: Shogun vs Pelagos

Shogun says it is 44mm, it wears smaller imo. The bezel sounds "tingy" when operating it. I liked it, but the Pelagos is whole different watch. Also the Pelagos has one of the best bezels made imo.

Potentially dumb question. Are these essentially the same as the SBDN (just with less crazy colorways)?

Only the case might be the same. Everything else looks different imo

I like all of mine to change anywhere from 10 minutes before 12 o'clock or after 12 o'clock within 10 minutes. Is it really relevant? Not really just my personal preference

That's funny. I remember reading recently some guy on WUS trashing Uncle Seiko for stealing the tropic strap design. Guy thought he stole it from the Oris 65. Oh man, you just can’t make this stuff up. Link? I had a hard time finding it, it was longer ago than I thought. It wasn't a big deal,...
