Glad I scratched the vintage Rolex itch a few years ago. Would hate to be in the market now.

I'm going to give OLEDs one more season to come down in price some. Plus, I'm in no hurry to go to 4k, since I don't have many 4k sources at this point. Once I get an XB1 Scorpio (or maybe PS4 Pro), I'll make the jump to 4k.

I'm not a fan in general for a number of reasons, but from a basic design standpoint, why aren't the 12, 3, 6, and 9 markers lumed? Just makes no sense.

It is a simplification of the design. It doesn't have to be an exact copy to violate the patent. It depends on how the patent claims were written and how good the attorneys are on each side. But just because it's not EXACTLY like the Rolex clasp in every way, doesn't mean that it doesn't violate so...
