What is it with chefs and watches?

Yeah lots of the celeb chefs have nice watches. But even if you watch regular top chef the contestants all seen to be wearing a decent watch of some kind, I have always wondered , especially as I have cooked in restaurants for many years why some of them wear a good watch while cooking. I wound neve...

Re: A closer look at the Stowa Seatime

I have seen this watch 1000 times. I have read reviews about it, know people that own it.
And I have always wanted it, just never pulled the trigger yet.
But I have to say, your pics, especially on all the different straps and write up, make me want it even more.
Enjoy, gorgeous diver.

Isofrane alternative

I've had a couple of those BC straps and in my opinion they are not as nice as the isofranes.

Titanium Tudor Pelagos

Wow I absolute love that watch, but had no idea that they were that expensive.
Do they make a steel version and if so what's the price on that?

Re: U-BOAT?

From what I have seen on their website, they have 2 sizes for alot of their watches, 45 and 50mm, and as others have said, some in the 43mm range as well.

I like the looks of some of them alot.

Hard to tell with only drawing digital mock ups and no real photos of the final product. The modular idea is great, the looks is totally a personal subjective thing. Real pics available on Oceanictime. http://oceanictime.blogspot.com/2012/07/h2o-orca-prototype-classic.html http://oceanictime.blogsp...

Has to be one of the single most screwed up posts I have ever read.
The OP should seek mental help for just thinking that up and typing it.

It is so retarded and far fetched and inane. just wow.

Re: 2500 Euro for a strap, you betcha...

You know, even though I cant afford most of the finer things in life, I am a true believer most of the time that you get what you pay for. But, anyone who pays 3 grand for a strap, is retarted. You can have awesome straps made by many of the custom strap makers for $200. $3 grand for a leather strap...

Threads like these( and there have been many) over at WUS in the Doxa forum, are enough to make me never want to buy the brand. They are worse with their censoring than Invicta is over at geeks. Shame, I really do like the look of a couple of Doxa watches, but just seeing the way they run their foru...

I remember the "Tough Label" BPM watches quite well, chef. Those straps are nuts. As much as I love G-Shock today, I can't help but feel that Casio was having more fun making them back in the 90s. Regards, Adam Yeah Adam, those straps were nice, especially for a g-shock. I loved that watch....

Re: Bourne Trilogy

Love these movies. Honestly probably my favorite movies of all time. The movies differ from the books for good reason, because the first books were wrote in the 80's and alot of the subject matter wouldnt have worked in the 2000's. Matt Damon said he didnt do the 4th installment because the one dire...
