Re: Why do we....

I guess because we can. I have done this before...not too often but once or twice. It usually is because we see something else we are after, and we get rid of one, to get the other. I have done that, and then regretted it.

Strange hobby we have for sure...

I have never been charged a fee for anything I have gifted, and I have a premier account as well. As far as the OP, I have ha...

Re: Update on the Prometheus Manta Ray

All I can say is I like the bracelet. That diver extension on the clasp is different. This type of bracelet extension is utilized by Citizen in some of their Aqualand models and other diver's. Also, if I'm not mistaken, Doxa uses this type, too. Citizen, Boschett Cave Dweller 2, Doxa, Irrateum Magel...

Natural rubber straps.....where is the vanilla smell from

So, saw this elsewhere today, someone saying he doesnt like the smell of the vanilla natural rubber straps, said it makes him gag....to each their own. I personally really love them. But with that being said, I did some searching around today for about an hour on the net, trying to read as much abou...

Not a fan of the strap, but the watch is right up my alley. Havent got to see a korsbek in person yet, but from everything I read, they are a solid watch, and that one looks great.

Re: Tempest Watches: Viking Concept - Professional Grade Div

I've gone back and edited my post. I say we let Ben introduce his new watch plans and save the Chinese/Swiss flogging for another thread. I agree that around 42mm is my sweet spot, but there are exceptions based on lug shape/length. Panerai and Doxa come to mind. The lugs on this one don't look tha...

To me when it has Swiss made on the watch nothing should be from any were else besides switzerland. This has most likely been a topic here when did if a percentage of the watch has Swiss parts it gets made in switzerland on the watch.Good luck with your watch but with a Chinese case you mite attract...

Let me clear this up right now - I AM the OP - ArNATO was an alias I created a while back with the intention of sabotaging every thread I could over there and inundating the forum with pics that I could later modify. That's ok - OnTimeGabe and the other WUS mods will have their hands full soon enou...

Wanted to add some pics of the nato strap, and I added another dial closeup. I am not a big fan personally of any nato, but I will say this one looks cool with the colors, but not for me though.....but I know lots of people do like them , so here they are . http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l153/hea...

Also need to add, I hate watches that say sapphire crystal right on the dial . I dont know why, I just hate it. Put it on the caseback only. Putting it on the dial just seems cheesy to me for some reason.

Love this thread. Heres some of mine. All high polished watches. watches that have lume markers, and no lume worth mentioning(Invicta comes to mind, but others as well) Cluttered dials. lack of micro adjustments watches with no date at all.......have to be a really cool watch for me to get past no d...

Re: Stolas Harbormaster Spinnaker First Look and Full Review

First of all, I love that NATO. The watch isn't bad, and I definitely give them the thumbs up for not using an overused catalogue case. I would prefer the bracelet to be 22mm tapering to 20mm or something like that. 24mm straight thru is a bit wide for my liking. The lume kicks as, and the overall ...

That strap (and the colors) is what makes me think my husband will love it so much! He loves that ocean teal! I was checking out the website and their dealers and saw one that sells the strap....just an FYI-- link is here: http://www.tic-tok.net/store/products.php?product=STOLAS-NATO-Strap-%252d-24...
