Re: New Arrival !!!!!

So it is a Fricker case. Even though I greatly prefer the dial on Kobold's v1, it would be pretty hard for me to spend the extra $300-$500 bucks for a SEAL now that this exist. Yes I know the movement grade is (likely) different. Not worth the extra $$$ IMO. Regardless of what you think about this ...

Grabbed this from another forum. Raven Watch Company is teaming up with STEVRAL LLC for the production of the Vintage Series and all future Raven models. STEVRAL or “Steve + Ralf” is run by Steve Laughlin and Ralf Schreiner who founded and operate Benarus Dive Watches. STEVRAL LLC is the parent comp...

They've been around for 4 years. The guys from Benarus are now involved with them in some capacity.
Im pretty sure Steve from Benarus owns the company exclusively now.

It seems to me that telling people there is no presale or reservation list on a watch and then selling them all to people who sent an e mail reserving one is kind of daft. LOL....your right though. If he is emailing people that expressed interest first, they get first dibs, before others to purchas...

Re: Have You Seen All Sapphire Crystal Watch From SIHH? Craz

I think its amazing they were able to do it, and an awesome display of technology and engineering.... That said, I think this would be more of a collectors piece to go in a display case, rather than wearing, and on top of that, even though we know what it is, wearing this , I would think most people...

Re: Lum-tec Bronze

I did not order a bronze, but am serioulsy considering the new 300m diver. The Magrette is a great price, but its kinda messed up to me. Brown dial, red markers, black strap. Right off the bat, I would be changing the strap with the Magrette. Question, does the Lumtec come with a bronze buckle as we...

Re: Okay, now this is just getting ridiculous...

Ive heard this Kobold-Fricker story for quite awhile. Guess really we will never know, but isnt Korsbek having issues with Fricker right now, becuase they keep having issues sending him watches without scratches? Who knows, maybe Fricker was screwing things up, Kobold got pissy, the two companies go...

Re: So I contacted Watchbuys about a SDR bezel for my U1 and

The more I read this thread, the more I really just want to stay away from a Sinn. Seriously love the look of the watches, but dont want to have to deal with Douchebags, and have an Invctaesque experience if I want to order parts, or need my watch repaired. As always, Im glad there are so many other...

Wow, that is messed up. But I have heard of brands before that will not sell you parts, without having you send the watch in. Which is a joke to me, if I am paying for a part, send it to me, dont worry about what I do with it. And $600 ...thats nuts, but not the first time I have heard about issues ...

Just thinking I'd love to see a no-bracelet pricing option as I don't think this one off the shelf does the watch any favor plus I did not like it on the wrist. Looking at that watch case, bead blasted would probably work best, to match up the finishes. Question, wont a steel bracelet on a titanium watch head be way off balance, as far as weight?
