Re: Wruw Sunday april8

Wearing the new arrival today! BP Bathy Blue Ceramic 43. Have included a pic with the little brother. The ceramic is darker than expected and the ring around the bezel gives the two watches different looks. The dial seems lighter/brighter on the 38 when on the wrist. Might be some room in the collec...

Re: WRUW4-6-18

This one today. Went a little nuts yesterday when two watches that were at the top of my list came up for sale. Need to do a little culling again :banghead:

Re: 42mm PAM: 'hell yes' or 'kill it with fire'

I for one loved the dimensions of the 682. Was no where near 16mm thick and wore very comfortably with 22mm lugs. Sacrificed when I got the Aquanaut Travel Time, but I really liked this watch.

The Bathy 38 today on Art's canvas. Definitely one of my favorite blue dials, and still amazed by why you get in terms of specs in this size case.

Re: Incoming - Going Outside My Comfort Zone for Comfort

So I wore this all day on a couple different straps, and I can first say I really, really wish this was 40mm, but I can also say the size did not "bother" me and it felt fine/normal after a couple hours. I may like it on this vintage rubber even more than the other one. https://i.imgur.com/6UQ1a6W.j...

Re: Incoming - Going Outside My Comfort Zone for Comfort

Here are some comparisons with the Doxa Black Lung and the No Date Sub, and then with the two 45mm BP FF Sports. Also, some new pics on the OD green nato and vintage rubber strap. I think these are my two favorite combos so far, but I have several other vintage rubber that work as well. Finally, a p...

Incoming - Going Outside My Comfort Zone for Comfort

So, I mentioned in a post on Friday that I had something coming that was both very familiar and way outside my norm. It arrived Saturday while I was out much of the day, but I had a chance to see it and try it out last night and this am, and I am as torn as I was when I bought it. Here it is...

Re: Basel Releases 2018

That steel G looks great. Everything else on this page 19, well...

I would like to see the new Omega wave dial in person on the standard blue version, but the others are just really bad and that new rubber strap is a huge step backwards.

Re: Friday wruw mar23

Nautilus today, and still a little torn as i just pulled the trigger on a watch that is both extremely familiar and way outside my norm at the same time (figure that one out). It could either be an awesome revelation for me, or a potentially costly mistake in terms of resale. https://i.imgur.com/8Sw...

And on the second page of Daytona the new WG ones with Oysterflex from last year all now have bracelet versions.

Edit: check that, WG with steel bezel.

Re: Basel Releases 2018

Also a new platinum Daytona with a different ice blue dial (older one is still there as well). Looks like they are not advertising some of these other changes yet.

Re: Doxa yellow is back

After some back and forth, I am sitting this one out on the pre-order, but will likely be a buyer when they start getting flipped. The 1200t case was always a bit too thick for me in steel, and while the Doxa mod on the WUS thread says that the case is slightly different than the 1200t, even the ear...
