Re: What do you drive???
Just put down a deposit for a 2023 4Runner Off Road Premium in lunar rock. My number one color choice. Has the predator XP package which gives it a lot of the TRD Pro appearance stuff. Also went with KDSS. Only ORP I’ve seen with KDSS optioned in my area for a while. Very excited to pick one of thes...

Re: Is Seiko discontinuing the MM300?
Made the mistake of selling my SBDX001 years ago. Bought an SBDX017 nearly 3 years ago and it's not going anywhere. For not much more than the price of a mid range Seiko dive watch, you get something so much better.

No experience with one but words cannot describe how much I love this watch. I hope you find one, RMM.

Congrats! Everyone who has the means should have the opportunity to own a 911 at some point. Miss my 991 a lot, but it didn't make financial sense to keep it at the time.

2023 novelties are coming soon [emoji41]
Oh sorry you already picked it up and are worried about the movement. Gotcha. I have two SW200s and they are great timekeepers, FWIW.

Do it. I would if I could. I don’t need all the tech but tegimenting is definitely good and the Professional U series watches are perfection.Jeep99dad wrote:Makes me rethink picking up the U50p

Looking for a Seiko Diver - Thoughts?
SPB143 is amazing for the money. Really good. If you can do something a bit bigger and thicker, get an MM300. For a bit more, it’s miles better than all of the low and mid range Seiko divers.

Re: 2023 novelties are coming soon [emoji41]
I’m actually glad they didn’t use the Lego hands of the U50 on this one and differentiate it. First Sinn in a while I really want though I thought something was off initially and wasn't sure... the more I look at it the more something seems off with the hands, I think they aren't the right size. th...

Re: 2023 novelties are coming soon [emoji41]
These new releases are overall fine to me. But I feel like Sinn needs to offer just a little bit more than what we get for these new aggressive price points.

This would be my choice. Black carbon with a white/full lume dial… absolute tit toppers. I think Jay had one? https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20230205/216e6c8b3b646d61acd29e4fef0de907.webp https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20230205/17bd60d60056194c047b428e4ea723ab.jpg Me too. Best Buy has M1 MacBook Air's for $800
The M1 chip is a game changer. The M2 probably is worth it if you’re going to be doing intensive tasks but for everyday the M1 is incredible.

It’s great. My wife has the 300 Searambler. I actually prefer the larger dial of my 1200T, but the 300s have a lot of charm.

Re: Synchron/Poseidon Ice Diver
I dig it a lot and it’s great value for the money. I didn’t buy one because as much as I like it, I like my DLC Military more (mostly because it’s a faithful tribute to the original Doxa Army) and I don’t need two very similar watches.

I’ve owned two U1s with the SDR bezels, the first for 7-8 years and the second for about 5 years. Worn doing lots of stuff and no wear on either.

I love it. Still for me an OP would need to be under $10K. I don’t see the value above that price point.
