Thanks to brother Hop… I’ve got a couple of 14060s to look at.
Do your research and don't jump on anything because of price. The one I added above is a great option, but there are may others.

Buy the seller.

Here's a great choice in your price range.

I was looking at it literally 5 mins ago and came here to post about it.
The 2017 service makes this a great buy.
Always buy condition first, the recent service on this one makes it a great buy.

Is it possible to put a glide-lock on an older bracelet like a 14060M?
I've seen it done, it's getting one that's a bigger problem.

Re: First Sub for me…

If you’re looking for a sub, get a sub! I think your instincts are correct - 14060 is THE sub imo. I would go for a late four liner because they’re younger. Aesthetically, I also loved the 5 digit SD but it wore like shit on my 6.75 wrists: it’s too tall and it flops on the wrist too much. In terms...

Re: Bracelet News: EZ-link now available

Good to see others had a good experience with these links, not the case for me. The first link arrived and didn't function as described or expected. It was difficult to open and close. The replacement was slightly better, but still difficult to open and close, to the point I was concerned the clasp ...

I'd be curious how it would work on the clasp of a 114270.

Re: What is up with watch prices?

The 114300 will continue to appreciate in value, the Halios will not. And, based on my experience, I would expect the Rolex to keep time and be water tight without service 20 years from now. Rolex is expensive due to marketing. However, Rolex is also expensive because it's not "Swiss made" with par...

Re: What is up with watch prices?

Stopped by the local Rolex AD this weekend. Every slot in the case filled, 50+ watches, all "exhibition" pieces. Was advised the wait is 3 years for anything , yet I know VIPs get watches there with little to no wait. Go figure. Even for a run of the mill Daydate? I miss the days you could get a NI...

I believe only 100 were made, could be wrong. Haven't seen one for sale in quite some time. Good luck with the search.

Re: New - Unimatic Modello Quattro

I think this looks great. Didn’t realize this brand sells out so fast. Will they restock these or this this some sort of limited edition that people on IG fight over? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I don’t think this is limited. If you buy from Hodinkee you’ll pay tax & shipping. If you buy dir...

Re: New Speedmaster Professional?

Nicest thing is the more tapered bracelet. From 20-16 instead of 20-18 on the current. Probably the one thing I don't like about my Speedy pro and more true to the original. Also bracelet looks fully brushed? i am not sure a 20-16 taper would work on such a tall watch. i would have to try one on to...

Re: New Benrus Type I

Weird, at this cost point they didn't eliminate the ghost date setting. I remember not too long ago micro brands being roasted over this, and there were watches under $1,000. Definitely would have been better if they'd removed it. I'm pretty sure that Stowa removes it on their no-date watches. But ...

Re: New Benrus Type I

Been reading about recent delivery of these Hodinkee seems not to pack them to well for shipping so they probably bounce around in the box when being shipped.some even got scratched bezel rings read thread at MWR forum.
