Re: ND Sub or PAM 112

I'm confused (but then I'm not very bright  )! I thought you were keeping the PP. Or, are you keeping it and the Sub is an addition? Both would be ideal, as an historic classic and new classic together in the same collection. I agree with what others say about wearing the PP wherever: regardles...

Re: Watches you just don't "get".

I started this thread as kind of an experiment and to prove a point. With just the small percentage of our membership that responded, we've managed to find some hate for just about every watch manufacturer out there, as well as straps, bracelets, crystals, etc. However, this thread did NOT get lock...

Re: Watches you just don't "get".

There are so many watches i just dont get, watches that the majority rave about sometimes make me think "am i missing something here?" Same here. The Omega Speedmaster and all UTS models simply don't move me, but I was never willing to admit it publicly. This thread has been therapeutic, kinda like...

I've got another two: leather straps on dive watches, and IWC.

Re: Watches you just don't "get".

Nothing relating to an actual brand, though I've seen no Tags I like. I'm always saying I only like divers and what I really don't get is the Omega Speedmaster. Great watch, but can't see the attraction. Oh, and UTS. Again, probably a great watch, but really don't like the case design. Horses for co...

Re: What's your next watch? Or if you are chasing - your grail?

Only interested in divers. At the moment, can't decide if I'd like either a DSSD or a 14060M. Currently got: *PO *SMP *B Seawolf SS *B Seawolf Ti *Rolex SD *Rolex date Sub Indecision doesn't really matter at the moment as I can't afford either right now anyway :crybaby: Steve That collection needs ...

Re: Daily beater

... I was being sarcastic about the UK gun laws, not your picture. I don't know what the mods will say, but I think it's okay to use pictures like that; one of the reasons I came over here. I know it's a clip, I meant what calibre? It's 300 Win Mag. Speaking of the UK, my understanding is that taki...

Re: Daily beater

Yeah, I understand now that I should not have used those props for posting in this forum. :) It's just a clip (magazine). I thought it would offset the watch nicely :) Sorry buddy, I didn't mean that at all; I was being genuine. I think it's a great picture and the prop works. I used to shoot, and ...

Cool watch and great shot. I live in a country where we can't be trusted with firearms/bangy things/scissors etc, :uj: so what is the prop?

Welcome, by the way.

seal change intervals

Guys, for those of you who dive with their watches, how often do you get the seals changed? I've been getting my Omegas' and Breitlings' changed every year. However, when I went to my AD about getting this done for my Seadweller, the onsite Rolex technician, said it would only need doing every two t...

Re: Dark Horse

I don't have a "dark horse" like you guys, since I don't sell or trade my watches. However, I only have divers, and I prefer chunky ones. I bought a SD a couple of years ago and chose it because it's chunkier than the Sub'. Then, and I can't explain why, I bought a Sub as well. For the last couple o...

Looks great mate. Is it the same rubber as the old one? I hardly ever use the Omega one for my PO as it's a bit stiff, whereas the Breitling I have is much more flexible.

All that nice stuff makes me want a new watch. I ALWAYS want a new watch.. :banghead: quote] Me too. Problem is, the next one is always a bit more expensive than the last. I only have dive watches, and I've just worked out that the cost of the last three would've paid for a couple of long-haul dive...

Thanks fellas. Luke, great shots. I almost bought an ST1 but went for something else in the end. Have you used it in cold water, and if so, how does it perform? Paul, fantstic pictures and athough I enjoyed them, like I've said on another forum, they serve to remind me how dull and boring my own job...

Hey guys I'm still trying to work out how to re-save (if that's the correct term) my photos' at a lower resolution (okay, I don't know what I'm talking about) so that I can post them. In the meantime, how many of us are divers and have shots of our watches in action? Regards Steve tried again for pi...

Hey guys, tried to put a pic of my Seawolf in but was told the file was too big, although I've managed to do so with the same pic on a different watch forum. How do I do it here?

Thanks and regards
