Re: How much would you pay for a quartz?

I've recently had a new found interest in quartz on a few different levels and each is somewhere on my wish list. In no particular order A GS with a 9F - I'd happily pay what they are around for used, and if I ever ended up in a Seiko Boutique might pay list. A thermo compensated one in a diver for ...

An old lady's driving along the motorway

An old lady's knitting whilst driving along the motorway, a police car pulls alongside and the policeman yells "pull over"

"No, it's a pair of socks"

Re: Belmoto watches from Magrette

I like the chrono. The three hander looks like they just grabbed their Magrette dual time and changed the name on the dial. Too similar and not enough effort to differentiate It's the exact same watch with a different name and a colored second hand, and an exhibition case back with a steering wheel...

Re: Can't contain myself

Does the car have the carbon ceramic brakes?

Not trying to be a spoil sport but tracking is hard on equipment and those brakes aren't cheap.

Re: Black Friday deals

IDK about you guys, but I feel this yrs deals are fairly lack luster. I guess maybe I am not in the shopping mood or something, but there has not been anything that has lived up to the BF hype for me. Same feeling. Aside from a couple hot Alpina deals and the Kontikis at $490 (odd colors though) I ...

Buy the normal SM300, have the bracelet brushed, buy the NATO strap separately. Done. All win.
I was about to have my own thought but Hoppy had it first.

I'm too cheap. I was hoping to snipe this model around $350.00.
You do realize you're going to regret it when the prices are back to around $600.00 and everyone is posting theirs in the WRUW threads?

Come on, it's $89.00!

Love my SKX, every so often I think about modding it but never bother.

I've also had my eye on that citizen, whilst also looking at the NY0040 line with the crown at 8.

I handled the Eco drive recently in duty free and was impressed, the current Joma shop deal is very tempting.

Looking at Ashford.com this morning, they have some great discounts on certain Hamiltons and JeanRichards.

Tried it on in and AD at over $900, at $565.00 I'm VERY VERY tempted

Have you tried a caliper? Just to be sure?

Another question, how much were the straps? GBP8.00 or GBP6.66?

Re: SPECTRE

Saw it last night. Loved it. I had found that the DC bond movies where becoming graphic action movies as opposed to what I thought a Bond movie should be, car chases, sex, impossible escapes from a raving lunatic. Spectre had all of that and was easy to watch. To add some perspective to this I grew ...

Read the article about the movie in the aa mag last week. I think I can wait for cable or miss it completely.
