Re: Swatch Group Leaving Basel

Me thinks the big online reviewers wallets will be getting fatter. Yeah, but the guys who do the on-site reporting must be bummed that their annual free trip to Switzerland is getting canned ;) I don't think Basel will be gone next year, but possibly the year after. They'll be forced to renegotiate...

Re: What do you drive???

It is the Ranger Raptor I refer to. Price wise I heard the salesman said about USD50k. So, it's for premium market. Many Everests cruising around in my town. Wow only $50k for a Ranger Raptor! That's very good. I heard it would be priced similarly to the VW Amorak Adventure so if it does launch in ...

Re: What do you drive???

Gents, you guys have F150 over there instead of Raptor. Just curious what are the attractions for Raptor? Price factor? They have the awesome F150 Raptor, which is a F150 beefed up, the Raptor I'm referring to is the new Ranger Raptor, which is a Ranger that has been given some of the F150 Raptors'...

That is bad form but not uncommon in the watch industry unfortunately.
Public opinion will win everytime and if people spread the word around the forums it will raise awareness and also drive some business to Terrys site.

Re: Would you buy a house next to a school?

I wouldn't live next door to a school. Traffic is a nightmare twice a day and there is the noise at lunchtime.
Depending on the school there might be adult night classes so traffic and parking will be bad in the evenings too.

Re: Do you think we'll ever switch to Metric?

I do think it's funny that even though most of the earth uses metric we still measure screen size in inches. When you look at the specs of mobile phones or TVs the outside case dimensions are in cm/mm but the screen is inches.

Re: Do you think we'll ever switch to Metric?

I’d switch to metric in a heartbeat. What I refuse to do is put a comma for my decimal place. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180227/2e1d1206f6ddf3429eb6885c9e18d07d.jpg We use metric and use a decimal point not a comma. We use kilometres, meters and millimetres, for some reason we don't use cm....
