Remembering a friend.

I wore this today.

For about 5 minutes, then had to return it to my friend whose watch it is. Utterly gorgeous and fantastic.

Maybe it’s just overdone, but I feel this Luminox is a cheesy try to somehow tie their watches to the military. What do you think?

I have used Jack many times, not just with Seikos, and never had a problem. I’m not his apologist, but I know that he had a rough patch a few years ago and that may have affected some of the work. I believe he’s back on track now - I recently entrusted an EZM 1 to him with outstanding results.

This is tempting, especially vs the ‘military’ dial versions.

Funny you should mention that - I did use a small piece of closed cell foam the first time I tried this, but then realized the caseback does a better job anyway. This is why many EZM2s will have a small bubble when unworn, but which disappears as soon as the watch is warmed by wearing it on a wrist....

I find this ( and the Synchron) interesting, but what Army is this designed for? The Black ‘n’ Tans? That dial just doesn’t scream “military” to me.
