Re: Omega Adjustable Clasps Fit the PO

I'm going to wait to see if there is a Seamaster version for the new PO. There is. I thought the SM300 fit the PO8500? Does it fit the large PO? Yes, Tony has the 45.5 PO. I believe the clasp is the Speedmaster MK II for the large version. The SM300 clasp is for the smaller bracelet of the 42 and 4...

That Drew carbon looks awesome Matt! Might be a winner. Do you have any pics that show it on wrist or at different angles? Thanks!

Re: Strap Suggestions for PO?

I let the Bremont go, Rob. It wasn't getting the wrist time it deserved and I found a buyer who really loved it. I think it's highly likely I'll own another one someday; still love the brand. :uj:

Re: Strap Suggestions for PO?

Matt - yeah I think the 8500 really needs the lugs filled, which the ISO doesn't do.

Mike - those all look awesome on your watch, but the greyish matte bezel on mine makes straps more challenging. :banghead:

Re: Strap Suggestions for PO?

Thanks guys. I think Cletus might be right - especially now that I have the adjustable clasp - but I thought it might look good on a Bond NATO ... this one:

Strap Suggestions for PO?

Hey Fellas, I'm currently a "one watch guy" thanks to my PO; I sold off everything else since they weren't getting wrist time. I'd like to get a NATO or two and/or a leather that would look great on it. Any pics you have of suggestions, and where to best get them, are appreciated. The watch is this ...

Re: Super soft watch market...

Definitely a soft market for all the reasons noted; it took a long time to sell my Bremont - though my Sub sold relatively quickly. I think I did my big "sell off" just in time; it's a tempting time to buy, but I'm trying to remind myself that whatever I get will probably be hard to sell (unless it'...

Re: Watch spotting

Reminds me of a conversation I once had with my boss:
Me: That's a nice watch.
Him: Thanks, it's Italian.
Me: Really, can I see it?
[It was a Chopard Mille Miglia, very dirty and set to the wrong time.]

Re: Omega Adjustable Clasps Fit the PO

Hey guys,

I should have mentioned that our OB tech said to be sure to keep the original clasp; you will need to put it back on the watch before sending it to Omega for repair or service; apparently they won't handle a watch that is "franken" in any way (yes the tech used that term!)

Omega Adjustable Clasps Fit the PO

Hey PO Owners, Have you ever wished you could get an adjustable clasp for your PO? Well now you can! Last week Pat (nellipj), Fred (keepsabeat) and I met up at our Omega Boutique and the tech fitted the adjustable clasp from the Speedy Mark II to my PO 45.5; total cost with tax $130. While we were t...
