Re: Rolex OP White Dial

I love it. Still for me an OP would need to be under $10K. I don’t see the value above that price point.

Crazy to see all the old names on these ancient DWC threads. Jason, you did become famous!

I’ve been here since the beginning, after migrating over after the Y3 implosion.

Re: The myth of the two watch collection.......

I love having lots of watches, but if I’m being honest all I really need in my life is a 16600. Maybe a BB58 too for those situations when having a Rolex on wrist is not desirable.

Re: DWC Opinions on JLC?

Only had a JLC NSA. Killer watch overall but yes I thought build quality didn’t match the name. But I still want it back. Because it was an incredibly cool watch. Toying with the idea of making the move for a TTP 68. One of my all time grails.

I love this and will have one. Perfect other than I wish it was grade 5 Ti—that said I had few scratches on my old 2-liner after a couple of years so I don’t think it’s really a problem.

Re: What is your Daily Rotation criterial - and why?

Have 12 or 13 watches which is too many. I gave a Speedmaster to my son recently partly because I never wore it. I usually pick one and wear for a week at a time. I might swap out at night when I get home. I think I would be happy rotating between my U1P and BB58. I love my 16600 and it could easily...

U1P and U50P. Just arrived! 6D523644-FC23-41D7-97E7-5A2B112406D2.jpeg Interesting on the difference between the hands, which you can easily see here. Also, how do they look so similar in size? I dig the lighter weight of the U50-would love to wear my U1P on the bracelet more but it’s just a bit too...

Re: Sinn U50 Pro!

The maratac titanium zulus would work really well on these too. I bought PDW titanium NATO for my regular U50. Will try it on the U50 Pro whenever I get tired of the bracelet. Blasted TI matches the sub steel almost perfectly. https://i.imgur.com/jAsA6jG.jpg Nice. I’ve had the green one in my cart ...

Re: WUS-type question, date vs no-date

I find benefit to the functionality you get with a date, but overall prefer the aesthetic and convenience of no-date watches.
