Any experience with Resco?

In my search for a pre- owned watch, Resco has come up on my radar.... I know a few of you have owned one, so what are your thoughts in terms of build quality and wearability? I dig the aesthetic, simple dial, and size. Looking currently at an Oris Aquis.... But these look interesting..,, thanks for...

I always admire those that take risk and do something different, on their own. In this case the watch is no where near my tastes or style. Best of luck to him.

Re: Any experience or thoughts on Oris?

[quote="Danny_T"]Great watches and even better in Ti. I have the white Aquis (his and hers) and the Titanium Maldives. Love em! Don said it that these watches are meant to be on the bracelet. No need to change straps. The rubber with clasp is very nice too and the clasp is great. https://imagizer.im...

Next time you are in the cities go to Continental Diamond. They are our local AD. Personally, I think the sunburst blue dial is pretty sharp.
So your a local guy , eh? I would love to stop in and get some wrist time with as many as I could.... Have to make it up there soon.

Re: Any experience or thoughts on Oris?

I love the Aquis too, used to have a Maldives. You have to keep in mind that the lugs are chunky, and top is polished, and a lot of the bracelet is also polished (some people prefer brushed). Also the rubber strap/clasp system will likely not fit wrists less than 6.75" in size (maybe if you can cut...

Re: Any experience or thoughts on Oris?

Thanks for the info dudes.... I think the biggest con by far is the proprietary lugs, and lack of strap choices.
That being said I got straps for my Exp 2 and that should scratch that itch....in fact some of Terry's toxic straps just showed up in the mail today!

Now...which color??

Any experience or thoughts on Oris?

I am looking to add a decent diver around 1k and the Oris Aquis has come to my attention. Seems like a quality watch, well thought out, with its own look. Looks like the rubber strap is soft and supple, with a nice clasp to boot. I've never tried one on. Any of you guys have experience or advice re:...
