Re: Anyone buying the titanium square?

I was looking at the titanium camo version and ran across a killer deal. Had just sold a few vintage Seiko’s so had some funds in the PP account. Ended up picking it up and hopefully will have it this week. Got it about 25% off so should be an easy flip if I decide I don’t like it. I’ll post pictur...

Re: Musk’s “Blade Runner” truck

Fortunately it is a prototype. Hopefully the finished product looks a little better. Either way, I prefer the Rivian truck and SUV. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20191123/6ba6588fed2923672cfae9c6a4b440d6.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20191123/6e1d9478af4648f50c5750124eaa62f3.jpg Sent from...

Re: Musk’s “Blade Runner” truck

Just don't see an electric pick up truck being powerful enough to pull a boat, or anything else of substantial size for that matter anytime soon. Plus that's just fugly. Looks like a pregnant humpback Delorean. It’s definitely powerful enough. Electric torque is insane. It might be the one thing it...

Re: New Seiko Thread

Man that says a lot. It dwarfs the MM300 but looks comparable size wise to the NAFT. I guess I never realized how large the NAFT was. I guess I probably did wear the MM300 well after all.

Re: Musk’s “Blade Runner” truck

I didn’t think it was possible since I’ve overall been a fan of Tesla, but I cannot explain we’ll enough how much I despise this thing. It’s a truck designed by a person that has no concept of how trucks are actually used. The bed design is impractical and the design of the built in tonneau blockin...

Re: Car Spotting

996TT is a great buy these days. If you can find a relatively low mile example that has had the IMS bearing issue addressed, it’s a great deal and value. I thought the IMS problem was only an issue on the naturally aspirated models? Either way I love the 996 and I’ve thought about eventually pickin...

It’s a good looking watch and nice to see one for this price without a Miyota or Seiko Instruments movement.

Orient comes to mind without blowing the budget. $125.

Just got it free with my Verizon as well. Planning to check it out tonight. I haven’t even seen what is on there yet.

None really. I have a couple I would have made more money on if I waited but would have sold regardless. Tastes have shifted once again. I’ve been getting bored quicker with each phase and then change again.

These do look awesome. Like most Gs they’re too big for me. I’m pretty much relegated to the squares for something to look normal on my wrist.

Re: Anyone buying the titanium square?

I wish they'd add a sapphire crystal, but I'll stick to my regular metal cased 5600 Edit: Wait they have a sapphire crystal with non-reflective inside coating I’m glad it exists but it’s a big overkill. Sapphire would be nice to add to the steel models, but as it stands the steel models are nearly ...

Re: Anyone buying the titanium square?

DLC coating isn’t a value add ever. It just ends up scratched and shitty looking. Yeah I don’t know about trusting coatings. At least scratches in titanium and stainless steel blend in. And if you scratch black plastic... it’s still black plastic underneath. This watch is dumb. I kind of wonder abo...

The more I look at it the more I think that’s what they were going for. I have a feeling it’s going to sell out quick.

Re: Anyone buying the titanium square?

Crazy. I love the stainless ones but I had a hard time with the $500 price tag. $1600 is a no go for me unless I could sell for $2200 and make some coin. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro That’s the speculation right now. $1600 I’d a hard pill to swallow. If I knew for sure I could make money ...
