Re: Ferrari still doesn't understand how turbos work

If everything else is equal, I'd much rather have a naturally aspirated car. I love turbos and S/C don't get me wrong but there is a beautiful responsive amazingness to a high revving NA engine singing at high RPMs.

Re: Bremont Movement...

After the huge amount of flak Tag got for their "in house" chrono, I didn't think anyone would make the same mistake again. But then people who buy most Tags probably don't follow watch forums and maybe that's true of bremont as well. Rightly or wrongly bremont takes a lot of shit from people for no...

Re: Non-functional HEV

I believe Bremont actually does batch testing. But not 100% sure on that.

I do recall that Bremont S500 cases really fail around 2000m in testers.

There should probably be two industry wide designations.

Tested to 2000 Meters

and

Rated to 2000 Meters

Like most GP watches, it looks horrible in these 3D renders but look great in person.

Re: Game of Thrones stunner

I have to reread the books, I've forgotten what happens in a lot of scenes.

The books are great except for 1 which was just not that well written.

The Wiki of Ice and Fire is also really helpful but it's spoiler city.

Re: Bremont ALT-1C on special NATO

Nice! How's the thickness work on the watch? Bremont cases tend to be pretty thick, especially on the caseback side. NATO never really worked on my wrist personally. Looks great though. Not nearly as bad as I thought or maybe I've just gotten much fatter? I also noticed with the S2000 that it wears...

I think the Hambleden straps are a bit thinner and of a different glossy finish.

Bremont ALT-1C on special NATO

Mike Pearson, all around nice guy and awesome dude was kind enough to gift me a personal strap at the last Red Bar event. I believe this is a NATO that comes from some of the special edition watches and is not available on the online boutique at least. Please correct me if I'm wrong. It's the most c...

Re: Will you be adding a Bremont this year? Which?

The iPhone has a around 30mm lens, when you do close ups with it, it exaggerates the perspective and makes things look bigger. I understand Adam has used this effect extensively to his advantage in his snapchats.

Re: RedBar - JOLO Returns - Bremont Special

I put all my gear away because I started to feel guilty that i wasn't speaking to anyone. Unfortunately that meant I didn't get to shoot the new normal 3 hander Bremonts. The casework is really quite great. However, the new movement decorations on these models are absolutely at a new level. They've ...
