Re: So I contacted Watchbuys about a SDR bezel for my U1 and

The more I read this thread, the more I really just want to stay away from a Sinn. Seriously love the look of the watches, but dont want to have to deal with Douchebags, and have an Invctaesque experience if I want to order parts, or need my watch repaired. As always, Im glad there are so many other...

Re: So I contacted Watchbuys about a SDR bezel for my U1 and

Wow, that is messed up. But I have heard of brands before that will not sell you parts, without having you send the watch in. Which is a joke to me, if I am paying for a part, send it to me, dont worry about what I do with it. And $600 ...thats nuts, but not the first time I have heard about issues ...

Re: Korsbek Hydro Explorer

Just thinking I'd love to see a no-bracelet pricing option as I don't think this one off the shelf does the watch any favor plus I did not like it on the wrist. I'd wear mine in a black Isofrane or nice leather once in a while. Sorry if I missed this, is it now available to order? I know he was con...

Re: Brushed mesh?

Looking at that watch case, bead blasted would probably work best, to match up the finishes. Question, wont a steel bracelet on a titanium watch head be way off balance, as far as weight? The mesh bracelets ive had didnt weigh much and i dont see it being an issue, now they weren't Omega bracelets ...

I like the design and lookin at the facebook page, the prototype has a very nice bezel design, and applaud for being different. But, looks way, way too big, no curve to the lugs , and BLUE Steel ? I know it might be for some, but not for me.

Re: Annoying question re: boutique divers

So much anger around here these days. WTF!? i think everyone needs to chill. imo, the trouble all started on pg1. [go back and read it.] to paraphrase, a new guy asks for some opinions on some boutique watches and a few posters said don't do it, you'll be happier with some 'real' watches. while i u...

Re: Annoying question re: boutique divers

If your not stuck on bronze, you might want to wait on the release of the Halios Puck 1000m as well. Jason does a great job with his watches, and in my opinion, is a step above most of the other china micros, Helson, Armida, Deep Blue, etc.

Re: German Bronze

Personally , dont like the look of it at all. Reminds me of a Helson Gauge or better yet, one of the Enzo watches, mated with a Russian diver .

But looking on his facebook, you can see pic by pic of him tooling and manufacturing the watch, which is pretty damn cool.

Re: Annoying question re: boutique divers

I have owned an Armida A-1, and have seen many Helson in person. They are built in the same factories, and finishing is pretty close to the same. What would I chose....Armida. The one owner Chris, is just very personalble and friendly, and they pull no punches at all about what there product is, and...

Re: AEgir CD-2: Hype or Hit?

Great review and pictures, and very detailed in your pros and cons of the watch. I guess I can somewhat see the Seal, but you definitley can tell it is more of an original design, and the reality is, how many ways, can you do a dive watch(being original and doing something new), before certain aspec...

Unfortunatley, I feel I should pack my bags here now, as that Doxa is the only Doxa I have ever really liked. Never a big fan of the beads of ric...
