Re: Customer review, and his site

I met Sheldon Smith (site owner) about 4 or 5 years ago at a GTG in Vegas. Really nice guy. He brought little goody bags for everyone including Veraet watch cleaner (now called Wrist Clean I think) and I won a prototype Rubber B strap in a drawing that he brought. He does a real nice job on his writ...

Thanks guys - can't seem to take it off. This had the old school feel of a tool watch. Loving it.

Re: 42mm bronze Helson Shark Diver

Yep lugs are straight out. Something like 55mm L2L. But the weight was brutal as well. Still miss it though http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v604/panerai7/Mobile%20Uploads/Optimized-20151022_091007-01_zpsow9dn9yz.jpeg Beautiful patina. Just put the calipers on mine and it's just under 52mm L2L.

Re: 42mm bronze Helson Shark Diver

I had the 45 in Ti and loved it. I think I could do 45 in bronze too but the extra weight would be the concern, not the size.

42mm bronze Helson Shark Diver

I've been wanting a bronze watch for several years, but never quite found the one to pull the trigger on. This year, the Black Bay Bronze and Oris LE Carl Brashear Diver were released around Basel and piqued my interest further. The Oris is gorgeous with the blue dial but uses as SW200 movement and ...

I feel the bile build up in my throat at the first syllable I hear him utter. I'd rather see Jane Fonda play the James Bond roll than listen to anymore of his videos.

Re: So the market really is soft

i get that. and i get that while saving $1k on an expensive watch means a lot more to me than it does to someone who makes 7 figures. i'd like to think i'd still look for at least a decent deal if i suddenly went from my current salary to 10x my current salary, although I'm sure i'd be a lot less a...

So the market really is soft

I have a friend on another forum who has paid full retail at the Boutique for at least 5 Omegas and at another AD for 3-4 Grand Seikos. With the money he has lost flipping, he could own an AP! I've sent him info on ADs who would save him 20-30% depending on model, but he likes the Boutique/AD experi...

Re: Damasko DB3 and DB4 Limited Edition Review

We would have loved to use a bigger dial in the 3 and 4, and definitely considered it, but it would probably have required the creation of larger hands just for the limited edition which would have greatly increased the price. The day and date locations would probably need to move outward as well, ...

True, but I'd prefer a larger dial. That chapter ring adds nothing of functional value.

I'm thinking about the bronze version of this one. Love the blue dial.
