hrm. i'm sure there's one out there somewhere.

or if anyone's lazy and just wants to buy them, i think he only charges $15-20 for them.

Bullet pens

My wife brought these home for me when she came back from her parents. Her dad made me some bullet pens from 308 cartridges. Image

Re: WRUW - Tuesday July 15, 2014

it wears nicely on my 7.25" wrist. i like it just as much in person after i got it as i did when i saw photos. it's probably tied with my aqua terra for most wrist time (might be slightly ahead, since i'm more likely to wear this all weekend).

it's not that in a vacuum, they're bad watches. it's that if you're not arnold swarzenneger or andre the giant, it's like walking around trying to use an ipad as a phone.

i love how cavs fans used to think he could do no wrong, then hated him and called him a traitor, but now love him again and think he's awesome. speaking of soccer, he'd be a great soccer player because he knows how to dramatically whine and beg for calls. he may be one of the biggest crybabies in t...

Re: Projection watch

it would be more interesting to me if it also had the functions of a fitbit. i wear a fitbit (i get points for the wellness program at my company for hitting step goals, and that makes my health insurance cheaper), but if it's no more intrusive looking that that (and these aren't) and they do a few ...

yeah, the deer are all over the place and can get right up close sometimes.

that black bear on the median wall was a little more unusual, tho.

Re: My new neighbor!

even living just outside of DC, i see random wildlife in weird places. hell, my wife saw a black bear sitting on the concrete jersey wall in I-270 just hanging out and watching traffic drive by a few years ago. she has deer come up to the front entrance of her building, down a long sidewalk, so they...

"some" colors or "all" colors?

i guess it has enough different colors in it to make sure it will always match whatever murse, shoes, and ascot you're wearing that day.

Re: Christopher Ward in house?!

no, that's V2 (same one i have). there's a V3 coming. i don't *hate* it, but it's not great. i don't expect it to be on the level of my aqua terra bracelet, that bracelet costs almost as much as the C60. but once i had a high quality bracelet, it made me see that the C60 bracelet clasp could be bett...

Re: Tudor Black Bay Experts chime in...

so... BB on leather owners, does it annoy you that the strap is backwards and that the tail goes in toward you instead of toward the outside of your wrist? i love the strap and i love what i've heard about the clasp, but seeing the tail all the time seems like it would be annoying. and i'm not reall...

Re: Christopher Ward in house?!

totally a legit question to ask about longevity. that said, keep in mind that SH (who CWL merged with) existed before, so this isn't a *completely* from the ground up new movement from a company that's never done it before. and my understanding is that they do supply some other watch manufacturers. ...

i don't know which is scarier, the thought that he might have a framed collection of foreskins on the wall or that you would recognize what a blurry, framed collection of foreskins would look like on the wall.

Re: Christopher Ward in house?!

i think that the folks who buy the divers are mostly a different set from those who buy the $1500+ watches CWL sells. i have a C60, but have no interest in any of those C9 variants. either the $600 ones or the higher end (jump hour, monopusher, or this new one). i get the general impression that the...
